The 7th Special Operations Division, sometimes referred simply as 7th SpecOps Division, is the seventh special operations group of the Eclipse Special Forces' Special Operations Task Force. The division was led by Captain Andrew Peterson prior to his demise in "The Sacrifice".

Operation Nepture[]
On September 23rd, 2252, the 7th Special Operations Division participated during the final days of the Korman invasion of Earth, fighting through the Korman stronghold at Peleliu Island in Japan. Along with other military unit, the division was deployed onto the beachs of the island, where they were able to punch through the Korman defenses, eventually reclaiming the island and pushing the last of the Kormans off Earth.
Armada[]
The following day, the 7th Special Operations Division was aboard one of the Galactic Council of Alliances' spaceships in the armada when it was attacked by the Kormans. Despite their efforts, the group was ultimately lost in space aboard the flagship carrier, bound for an unknown destination.

For two years, the 7th Special Operations Division was left incarerated at the Nightstone Prison, a massive space station prison within the orbit of Korma. During that time, the division, along with the inmates of the prison, devised a massive prison break which they described to be the greatest of all.
