The AK47 is a Russian assault rifle that appears in the custom Nazi Zombies maps "Amazon" and "Descension", which are part of the Revelations map pack, which is DLC for the Apocalypse storyline.

Pre-War Version[]

The pre-war version of the AK47 was manufactured by Izhmash in Soviet Russia in 1947.

Manufacturing[]

During its service, the AK47 saw little to no combat. The Soviet Armed Forces adopted the weapon officially in 1948. The Spetsnaz also used the weapon.

Service[]

As stated above, the AK47 saw little combat. This version was used from 1948 to 1965. During this time, many variants were made.

The AK47's first version had only three attachments available. They are as follows:

  • Extended Magazines

Current-War Version[]

The current-war version of the AK47.

When a war broke out between the United States military factions and Soviet Russia's forces, the AK47 was redesigned. It was still manufactured by Izhmash.

Manufacturing[]

During manufacturing of the then-new AK47, multiple improvements were made. Some of these were: lighter weight, more attachments, and smaller frame. Obviously during war time the AK47 saw combat in America, Canada, Mexico, and South America. The Soviet Armed Forces and Spetsnaz adopted the new weapon.

Service[]

The AK47 was in service from 1966 to 1972. The production of the AK47 ended after the war.
