The AMT Hardballer is a fanon weapon introduced in Krankenhaus der Toten.
New Dawn[]
The AMT Hardballer is a semi-automatic pistol that appears in the New Dawn storyline. It deals high damage and has a reasonable rate of fire, making it a useful weapon for mid game. It is obtained via the mystery box.
Effectiveness[]
The AMT Hardballer is one of the most powerful pistols in the game, it's high headshot bonus making it a powerful precision weapon. However, if not used properly the Hardballer can be astoundingly weak, with bullets harmlessly flicking off of zombies. It is therefore recommended that the Hardballer only be used by experienced players with steady hands. It should be Pack-a-Punched by round 13.
Dual Wield Variant[]
The AMT Hardballer may also be found as a dual wield weapon. This dual wield holds a unique power: pressing left on the D-pad will toggle aiming, meaning that the iron sights button will function as if the weapon was not dual wield. This allows for it's precision performance to be maintained, which, combined with the fire rate of two pistols, a high ammo capacity (7+7+266) and incredible damage make it one of the most efficient weapons in the game.
Pack-a-Punched Variant[]
When Pack-a-Punched, the AMT Hardballer becomes the Absolution. This upgrade boosts the damage to 215-280, and the magazine size from 7 to 14 and the reserve is boosted to 196. They Hardballer also becomes silenced, which serves no practical effect.
The Dual Wield Hardballers become the Sin & Virtue. Sin & Virtue are considered to be one of the best weapons in the game. They also bear silencers.
Trivia[]
New Dawn[]
- The AMT Hardballer's make several references to the Hitman series, in which the Hardballer's (referred to as Silverballers in game) are the main characters signature weapon.
- The Pack-a-Punched variant takes its name from the game Hitman: Absolution.
- The Dual Hardballer's special ability and the overall precision of the gun is another reference to this.
