Lyrics[]
Normal Text represents normal singing and Italic Text represents talking
Life is never long enough...
But that doesn't stop people extending theirs...
Relentless attempts to become a god,
Shot down by failures bow,
The piece that is missing from the puzzle,
Is the thing you need to know...
Sinking slowly into oblivion,
You need to grab the branches of immortality,
To stop you're life drowing in your lack of mentality.
Craziness is your first thought,
The chances of sanity are at nought.
Your soul is stabbed by a spiritual knife,
Making a journey full of struggle and strife.
Souls and fiends intercept your Prolonged Life.
(A lengthy guitar solo plays, with a few screams in the background)
You don't like holding on to reality, do you?
You don't enjoy keeping a level head, do you?
You create a barrier of imagination,
To keep yourself in your salvation.
(The track fades out, and Damned is played in a lower key for 20 seconds)
The Prolonged Life you have,
Doesn't make you immortal...
