Governor Nakamura Ayato is the Governor of Tokyo, the capital city of former Japan and now owned by Atlas International, and is the founder and CEO of Nakamura Industries, which became an Atlas subsidiary in late 2134, and a senior member of the Atlas Council.
He made his first appearance in the 2023 film Futuristic Redemption, albeit unvoiced. He also made another unvoiced appearance in Futuristic Midnight.

Ayato originates from an Earth just hours before an infection ravages it, and was the 45th President of the United States and the first Japanese-American to be elected President.
Life in the Arc 3 Universe[]
Arrival[]
In his home universe, Ayato was currently meeting with his Cabinet in the Oval Office of the White House when a Time Displaced Mirror appeared just behind his chair at the desk. Against the wishes of his Cabinet and Secret Service escort, Ayato peered through the mirror only to become stranded in the Arc 3 Universe, arriving at May 7th, 2101 in the Universe's Original Timeline.
New Direction[]
Finding himself in a whole new world, Ayato decided to head to Washington, D.C. to figure out who the President of the United States was, only to arrive and find out that governments no longer existed and his title as POTUS meant nothing. With this information, he ventured home to Tokyo, Japan and found it to be owned by Imperial International. Without a clear direction, Ayato felt lost and alone until one night he remembered his father Yuzuru had a company, which he was once an heir to and decided to form Nakamura Industries. This newfound direction flourished in his favour and by 2112, his company was a major manufacturer in the arms sector, producing and selling weaponry in the Asian sectors. By 2127, his company owned Tokyo and he became known as The Governor.
Atlas Leadership[]
In early 2133, the megacorporation Atlas International approached Ayato with the intent of purchasing Nakamura Industries in a $231 million deal. Although skeptical, Ayato was eventually convinced, but only on the condition that he remained CEO of his company, which the Atlas Council agreed. The deal was finalized in late 2134 and Tokyo was incorporated as an Atlas city-state and Ayato was granted the title of Governor by the Atlas Council.
In the years following the deal, Ayato eventually became a member of the Atlas Council, becoming good and close friends with its Chairman, and Nakamura Industries had bought Kamisato Industries in 2137.
