The Beat Drop is a blaster created and used by Danielle Greer.
Background[]
After becoming a member of Techno, Danielle Greer, operating under the callsign Rhythm, began working as a Tech Agent under Victor Payton's command. In her free time, Rhythm created the Beat Drop, its name and overall functionalities being themed after her love for music. Rhythm would use the Beat Drop as her signature weapon.
Capabilities[]
Like all Techno weapons, the Beat Drop is linked to its user via advanced biometrics. Rhythm can summon the Beat Drop by flicking her wrist, which will manifest in her hand. When fired, the Beat Drop shoots out purple blasts of energy, with each shot emitting a sound akin to music beats.
The Beat Drop also comes with a built-in select-fire attachment, allowing for full-auto and semi-auto fire modes. While in the semi-auto configuration, holding down the trigger will charge the blaster, which will send out a stronger and louder blast when released.
Additionally, the Beat Drop features a volume control knob on the side of the blaster opposite of the select-fire attachment, which Rhythm can use to either reduce or increase the noise output of the blaster's shots for certain missions.
