The Blaser R93 is a non-canonical German hunting rifle appearing in some fanon maps.
New Dawn[]
The Blaser R93 debuts in New Dawn, appearing in several maps. It has high damage and penetration, but a low clip, rate of fire, reload speed and high recoil, making it a poor choice when on the move.
Effectiveness[]
The Blaser is useful on early rounds, being able to quickly take down multiple zombies with a single shot, their slower speed drastically reducing their threat. As rounds progress however, the Blaser quickly becomes ineffective, as it's slow reload speed, rate of fire, and small magazine size make it difficult to keep up with the hordes. The Blaser should be Pack-a-Punched by Round 8 if you choose to keep it.
Pack-a-Punched Variant[]
When Pack-a-Punched, the Blaser becomes the Relentless Hound. It's damage is increased to 1050-1270. The Magazine size is increased to 6, which also raises the maximum ammunition to 96. The RPM is boosted to 150, and, as a final bonus, the Hound's pen is raised considerably, allowing it to pierce about 25 zombies with a single shot.
