- “BOOOOMMMM!”
- ―A Boomer firing his weapon
Tall, large and pure evil, the Boomers are the second largest (and largest non-Drone) humanoid members of the Locust Horde. While incredibly strong, Boomers are somewhat unintellegent and thus are only capable of simple tasks. Boomers have a tendency to shout the word which describes their weapon before firing, as a warning to their comrades. For example, a Savage Boomer would say "Dig!" while a normal Boomer would shout "Boom!".
When the multiverse was shattered, Boomers along with the entire Locust Horde were brought to Earth.
In Zombies[]
Boomers are seen among large groups of Drones. The default Boomer being most common. Although Zombies don't take notice of his power, Boomers still make it blatantly obviouse that they are firing. They rarely manage to get attacked, but can be killed if hit enough.
Subclasses[]
Grinder[]
Grinders Equips the Mulcher heavy machine gun which can shred through Hordes of Zombies in seconds. They don't appear often, due to the fact that some Drones utilise the dangerous Troika turret as a spiritual ancestor.
Mauler[]
Maulers equip an explosive flail which turns enemies into giblets with a single swing. They also equip a shield which protects them from bullets and does damage to Zombies. It is incredibly rare to see a Mauler, as they are difficult to kill for Zombies.
Mauler Elite[]
Mauler Elites are very rare, and have special upgraded armour. Their shields can deflect bullets, and Shrieker Zombies will be stunned should they screech into the shield. Their explosive flail has a longer range and does more damage. Mauler Elites usually follow RAAM or other important events such as protecting Tremors.
Flame Boomer[]
Flame Boomers equip a Scorcher which burns down Zombies. A weakness is having a backpack which when shot, causes a leak which later explodes. Zombies don't take advantage of this, and it is rare that a Lambent will get a shot in at the backpack.
Butcher[]
Butchers equip a serrated cleaver, and serves as the Locust Horde's chefs. They are slow, but deadly. They go out on scouting parties with numerous Drones to look for food to cleave and bring them back.
Tremor[]

A Tremor holding his hammer.
Tremors wield large hammers used to summon Seeders from underground to ink the sky with Nemacysts. Tremors had to be guided to each location by stronger forces. In Zombies, Tremors play a role in the map's major easter egg which involves summoning Seeders. The Tremor is immune to Zombie/Former attacks, but can be killed by bullets or imulsion vomit from Drudges.
Savage Boomer[]

A Savage Boomer utilising his Digger
Savage Boomers equip a Digger, which can travel underneath the floor to decimate Zombies and Lambent alike. They are known as Savage due to being cut off from the rest of the Horde for a few weeks following being transported to Earth and degenerated. In Zombies, they can occasionly be seen destroying large packs of Zombies.
