Campsite is a hidden area found within the forest of the Test of Courage game mode in Future's Fortune. Like Kino der Toten and the Power Plant, it is only found in Test of Courage, and cannot be played in Survival. There are no doors/areas that need to be unlocked, although a secret Group 935 laboratory found underneath the campsite is the centre of the main easter egg.
Test of Courage[]
The area is pretty small, as it is a small clearing in the centre of a forest, with a couple of tents set up. A Group 835 lab opens up when the easter egg is started. Aside from the lab, the only thing found in this area is a Prison Knife.
The Group 935 lab is littered with counters filled with various uncompleted Wonder Weapons, including a Ray Gun, Thundergun, Monkey Bomb, Wonderwaffe DG-2, Winter's Howl, Scavenger and the Wave Gun. In addition, various posters of Hellhounds and zombies appear. The map of Der Reise (the loading screen for that map) is also seen on a table in a corner, although it is covered with blood. There are a few cages in one area in the room, all toppled over and badly damaged.
A meteorite is seen on another counter, and two clamps connecting the meteor to a power gauge. The gauge is cracked, and the needle is shown to be in the red area.
Weapons[]
- Prison Knife (10 points; replaces normal knife)
Trivia[]
- Various Perk-a-Cola bottles are littered around the area, all empty. Juggernog, Speed Cola, Quick Revive and Double Tap Root Beer are the the bottles seen.
- If the action button is held while looking at a bottle, the jingle for that perk machine plays.
- If this is counted as a map, then it is the smallest map in all of Zombies history.
- This excludes the lab, which makes it slightly bigger then the Hunter's Cabin.
- A snapshot of the Pentagon Thief is stapled to the Der Reise map.
- The comic book pages of all the Black Ops loading screens after Dead Ops Arcade are scattered along the ground. Due to the lack of light, they are easier to be seen in Theatre Mode or by noclipping.
