The Central District is the eponymous central district and capital of Midnight City. It is the largest district out of all within the city.
Background[]
The Central District is Midnight City's commercial, cultural, political and geographic heart. It is one of the busiest parts of the city and houses Government Central, which in turn houses Atlas International's headquarters as well as its affiliates and other megacorporations and companies within. It also has the highest concentration of Atlas Security Service forces than all other districts due to it housing Atlas Tower.
Atlas Square[]
Atlas Square is a small region located north of Political Square within Government Central. This area houses Atlas Tower and several critical buildings including the Atlas Research Center, Advanced Weapons Center, Medical and Biogenetics Center, Atlas Central Command Center and the Continental Energy Center. There is an underground facility complex that connects all of these buildings together for easier access and to avoid the busy traffic in the streets. This underground facility includes numerous more centers for Atlas' subsidiaries including a biogenetics center for Atlas Laboratories, and an even higher concentration of defenses including automated defense systems, Androids and Sentinel Corps.
