Futuristic Paradox The Final Chapter Futuristic Redemption Futuristic Twilight Creation by RoachTheIntelCollector canon to the Roach Chronicles

The Central Vault, also known as the Vault of Paradise Island, is a mysterious alien vault that was discovered in the outskirts of New Elpis on Paradise Island. The vault is home to a small, unique pocket dimension, which houses advanced alien technology, as well as a cache of Fractured-Space Energy within its confinements. It was discovered by the Mirage Corporation in 2095, and would become the epicenter for the corporation's work on reverse-engineering the technology for humanity and replicating F-Space Energy.

During Blackout's campaign to purge the world of F-Space Energy to prevent the universe's collapse, he utilized the vault as the site to drain the world of the energy, sending it back to the vault to form a massive energy orb. However, before Blackout could safely dispose of the orb, he was defeated by Techno, leading to a catastrophic explosion that left the vault as ground zero for Earth-52319's destruction.

After Earth-52319 was restored and the immediate events that led to its destruction were averted, the vault's supply of F-Space Energy was purged as a result of the universe's restoration, leaving behind an empty pocket dimension. Subsequently, the vault was shuttered after the nearby Mirage Corporation Headquarters was destroyed by an explosion during its raid. Two years later, the valley around the Central Vault's hatch would become the site of the Megacorporation Global Alliance's military base during the Twilight Collective Uprising.

According to Sophia, vaults identical to the Central Vault exist within each universe, their purpose being to contain and suppress nominal amounts of excess spatial energy such as F-Space Energy. Sophia also explains that vaults are capable of containing Nexus beings within them and can nullify their powers, including their ability to reincarnate. With this knowledge, the MGA executed a plan to permanently seal The Dealer and the Twilight Collective within the vault, though Jennifer "Vega" Reese was unfortunately caught within the trap and sealed away with them.

Surface[]

The Central Vault is a massive metallic structure almost entirely buried beneath the ground, with its entrance being the only visible feature of the vault, having been revealed by a washout from a previous storm. Five platforms resembling mounds circle the entrance to the vault, each bearing a symbol from an alien language. After the Mirage Corporation took ownership of the vault and its surrounding area, a large fence was erected around the perimeter. Additionally, the Mirage Corporation established their primary headquarters just beside the vault entrance.

Pocket Dimension[]

Entering the vault will lead to a pocket dimension contained completely within the confinements of the vault's interior, spanning two miles in diameter. Once the Mirage Corporation began using the vault and its F-Space energy contents as a power source for the world, three massive pipes were installed within the dimension that exited through the sides of the vault in the ground, branching off into hundreds of smaller pipes that lead all across the world to various F-Space power stations established by the Mirage Corporation.

Once Blackout took control of the vault, he created a snowy forest to act as terrain for the vault while he worked on ridding the universe of its F-Space energy supply. A large tree now supports the F-Space Orb that powers the vault. Small portals are also present within the dimension to allow for fast travel between different points within the forest and the sites used by Blackout to store the batteries that would drain the F-Space energy supply. After the large tree is destroyed by Techno, a massive crater would take its place, serving as the site of the final battle between Techno and Blackout.

After all F-Space Energy in Earth-52319 was purged, the pocket dimension was stripped clean of its contents, leaving behind an empty void. The three energy pipes were subsequently removed from the pocket dimension.
