The Crimson Syndicate was an underground gunrunning syndicate based out in Midnight City.
Background[]
Creation[]
In 2133, the Crimson Syndicate was founded by Valeria Hopé in response to Atlas International's newly-appointed firearm policy that pushed her family business into bankruptcy.
Activities[]
At some point, the syndicate was placed on Atlas Security Service's watchlist for criminal activity after their underground dealings were leaked to them. In 2145, the Crimson Syndicate was employed by the mysterious Twilight Collective to transport the collective's smuggled arms to its members scattered across Midnight City.
Unbeknownst to the Crimson Syndicate, the Twilight Collective was fully aware that the syndicate was being monitored by Atlas, who decided to use this for their own benefit. On March 4th, the Crimson Syndicate was flagged by Atlas International, prompting Atlas to deploy a joint task force comprised of Techno, P.A.R.A.D.O.X. and Atlas Security Service agents to raid the Crimson Syndicate's headquarters for information.
Destruction[]
The joint team managed to interrupt one of the Crimson Syndicate's shipments from escaping and eliminated much of the syndicate, leaving a handful of survivors for interrogation. The surviving Crimson Syndicate members informed the Atlas team of their partnership with the Twilight Collective, though before they could detail any more information, the base was suddenly attacked by the collective themselves.
To their horror, the Crimson Syndicate discovered that the Twilight Collective intended to eliminate them, and were powerless to stop the collective from killing the last of their ranks and much of the Atlas team. Techno managed to escape the scene with a manifest from the shipment they stopped, which the Twilight Collective hoped they would've.
After securing the communication devices from the surviving Atlas team to be reversed-engineered for their upcoming uprising against Atlas and the rest of the world's megacorporations, the Twilight Collective's leader Marshal Wolfe had them killed and the Crimson Syndicate's base destroyed, leaving behind no physical evidence of the Twilight Collective's presence.
