The Dark Angel was a unique Unversed created by Ignotus. The entity was created when Ignotus generated hundreds of individual Unversed and promptly absorbed their power, forming a mass of Unversed substance around his body that formed into the Dark Angel.

Battle of Ignotus' Realm[]
In an attempt to defeat the heroes that confronted him atop his cathedral within the Nexus once and for all, Ignotus used his full strength to manifest a vast legion of Unversed. However, rather than unleashing them onto the heroes, Ignotus instead absorbed them while they were in their physical state, further enhancing his own power by utilizing their essence.
Ignotus was soon enveloped in a massive sphere of Unversed substance, which formed into the Dark Angel to fight the heroes. After a lengthy battle, the heroes managed to defeat the Dark Angel, whose form began to crack upon its defeat. The creature proceeded to explode, releasing Ignotus from the fusion while stripping him of the darkness within his soul, prohibiting him from manifesting any more Unversed.[1]
Appearance[]
The Dark Angel is a tall, slim Unversed comprised entirely of a goopy Unversed substance. Its head has dark angelic-esque wings sprouting from its sides, earning the creature's defining name. The creature's face is rather crude, only depicting red saddened eyes and a mouth. The Unversed symbol is also situated above the creature's face.
