The Double-Barreled Shotgun is an American shotgun featured in all canon Zombies maps in Call of Duty: World at War and every revamped World at War map in Call of Duty: Black Ops. A Sawed-Off variant of the Double-Barreled Shotgun is also featured in every map but Der Riese.
Regular Variant[]
The Double-Barreled Shotgun can be bought off the wall in every map but Der Riese, can be obtained from the Mystery Box, and Console Commands. It possesses medium range, moderate accuracy, high power, a slow rate of fire, and low recoil. The Double-Barreled Shotgun is a fairly good weapon to use against zombies and is best as a barrier protecting weapon. However, it is often unfavored due to it only having two shots before reloading; this also makes players favor the M1897 Trenchgun more. Despite this, the weapon has a one-hit kill ability up to about round 10.
Pack-a-Punched Variant[]
The Pack-a-Punched Double-Barreled Shotgun becomes the "24 Bore Long Range," gaining more range, more power, and a higher ammunition count. It still retains the ability of holding two shots, however. To counter this, the 24 Bore Long Range can kill zombies at a farther range and is more effective. Also, it is a one-hit kill up to about rounds 20 to 22.
Sawed-Off Variant[]
The Sawed-Off Double Barreled-Shotgun can be bought off the wall in every map but Der Riese, can be obtained from the Mystery Box in every map but Der Riese, and Console Commands. It is virtually similar to the regular variant other than the shortened range, firing sound, and slightly less power. Because of this, players are even less satisfied when they get this weapon; however, it can rack up points and kills by guarding a barrier.
Pack-a-Punched Variant[]
The Pack-a-Punched Sawed-Off Double-Barreled Shotgun is only obtainable via Console Commands and is known as "The Snuff Box." Not much else is known.
Trivia[]
- In foreign versions of Call of Duty: World at War, the "Sawed-Off" is "Sawn-Off." This also goes for the attachment for the same weapon in multiplayer.
