Double Tap II Root Beer is a Perk-A-Cola featured in Undamned. It's essentially like it's canon counterpart and it's variants.
Effects[]
Like the canon counterpart, at least from Black Ops 2 to 3, it grants the player both increased fire rate and double damage. Players can also lay down equipment faster and operate both bolt-action rifles and pump-action shotguns quicker. There is no new addition to Double Tap.
Appearance[]
Again, nothing changed with the original using it's same model from Black Ops 3 (except the machine saying II instead of 2.0). On the bottle, the II logo replaces the 1.0 logo that was in the vanilla game. Unlike with Jugger-Nog 2.0, Speed Cola 2.0 and Revive!! Soda, Double Tap II uses its original jingle from WAW to BO2.
Trivia[]
- Unlike the rest of the classic canon perks, Double Tap II is the only Perk in the Undamned storyline, besides maybe PhD, that didn't receive a new ability.
- Peter Joyce says that "I think Mr. M used too much Gelatin powder in this drink", in reference to its chewiness.
- The SoE jingle wasn't used because the creator thought that the original jingle fit the Perk more.
