Futuristic Rivalry is an animated Canadian film written, directed and executive produced by Jesse Spade. It is distributed and funded by Morningwood Entertainment. It is slated for a May 14th, 2027 release. The film is set to focus on Mrs. T and her three daughters Glimpse, Iana and Alice in a time of uncertainty and tension, after the events of Futuristic Midnight and during Futuristic Twilight. It is part of the Futuristic Series.
It is the sixth film directed by Jesse Spade, the fifth film he wrote and the seventh executive produced by him. It is also the second film in the Futuristic Series not to involve collaborator Jett Wills.

Development[]
When it was first announced, Futuristic Rivalry was a six-part film series to be written by Jesse Spade, Jett Wills and Hal Drolic and focused on Daniela Knight, Gloria "Athena" B. Bourden and Xena "Sergeant" Mayfield, all of whom were originally going to appear in Futuristic Midnight prior to its story rewrite by Jett Wills. Spade announced the project's indefinite hiatus following Hal Drolic's departure on July 11th, 2025. It wasn't until August 20th, 2025 that Spade announced the project's continuation and its new story focusing on Mrs. T and her origins with a May 14th, 2027 release window.
On January 24th, 2026, director Jesse Spade announced that Lindsay Seidel was reprising her role as Alice from Futuristic Zombies, and Helen Mirren, Lauren Herink and Stephanie Young were announced to be the voice actresses for Mrs. T, Glimpse and Iana, and that the film entered production.
