The Futuristic Series is a series created by Anakin Nakamura with RoachTheIntelCollector later joining the team. It is a continuation of Roach's Futuristic Paradox saga of the Roach Chronicles, with the intent to expand the Arc 3 Universe. Projects in the Series are treated as different forms of media, such as films and short-films.
The Series' main focus is on Techno and P.A.R.A.D.O.X. and their activities after their relocation to Atlas International's city-state Midnight City in the Arc 3 Universe.
In-universe Overview[]
The Futuristic Series is a Canadian media franchise and shared universe centered on Techno, a former privately-owned vigilante group turned elite counter-terrorism task force, produced by Morningwood Entertainment. The franchise currently consists of films and video games.
In early 2022, director Jesse Spade announced that he was working on a film set within the Roach Chronicles, and was collaborating with Jett Wills. On June 7th, 2022, Jesse Spade announced that his film was called Futuristic Redemption, to be the first in a trilogy. Jett Wills later confirmed on social media that, story-wise, it was following his short-film Futuristic Paradox.
Futuristic Redemption was released August 4th, 2023. On February 20th 2024, Jesse Spade announced two sequels Futuristic Midnight and Futuristic Twilight, and that they were going to be shot back-to-back, these plans were changed, however, during production of Midnight. Their release dates were also announced, Midnight released on August 8th, 2025 with Twilight originally to be released on April 10th, 2026 before it was moved to August 4th that year.
On June 9th, 2024, Jesse Spade and Jett Wills both announced that the latter was developing a short-film serving as a prequel tie-in to Futuristic Midnight to introduce Abigail-Ignotus for her eventual appearance in the film. The short-film was released on December 20th, 2024. On March 15th, 2025, Jesse Spade announced two projects Futuristic Interlude: Countdown to Midnight, a short film tie-in to Futuristic Midnight, and Futuristic Rivalry, a six-part film series focusing on three characters from Midnight and Twilight with himself and Jett Wills, along with Hal Drolic, would serve as writers, directors and executive producers. Futuristic Interlude would be released a month after its announcement on April 18th, 2025. However, on July 11th, 2025, Jesse Spade announced the cancellation of Futuristic Rivalry following the departure of Hal Drolic. Following this news, a month later on August 20th, 2025, Spade announced the film's renewed focus on Mrs. T's origins and her relationship with her three daughters.
