“My boys and I have nothing to report from our patrol. Still no sign of Delta or Joker.”
―Gerlock

Gerlock is a former Security Agent of Techno who left the group out of loyalty to Isabelle Lakewood, later joining her organization. After the Forsaken illegally acquired an abandoned warehouse in Midnight City, Gerlock was placed in charge of maintaining security for Ketch's operations at the building. During one of his patrols around the building's exterior, Gerlock was incapacitated by Abigail-Ignotus during Techno's raid of the warehouse, allowing P.A.R.A.D.O.X. to easily apprehend Gerlock and the other defeated mercenaries on-site afterward.

Biography[]

Techno Operative[]

Joining Techno[]

Sometime between 2130 and 2138, Gerlock joined Techno as a Security Agent. Over time, Gerlock greatly supported Techno co-leader Isabelle "Siren" Lakewood due to the respect she held for him.[2]

Mission at Bunker 99[]

On May 19th, 2138, Gerlock was part of the Techno rapid response team deployed to Bunker 99 to rescue Nakata "Demi" Hayashi after her cover was blown during her mission to infiltrate the Private Army. After Demi was safely extracted, Gerlock stayed behind to assist Mirage Corporation security forces fight back against the Private Army and Shadow Company.[3]

Loyalist of Siren[]

Leaving Techno[]

On July 2nd, 2143, Siren was demoted from her position in a vote and later terminated from Techno entirely following an attempted assault on Roxanne "Rox" Summers. Upon hearing of Siren's removal from the team, Gerlock lamented that Techno was no longer the team it once was and quit out of support for Siren.[4]

A Twist in Time[]

On August 26th, 2143, the entirety of Earth-52319 was destroyed after Blackout failed to defuse the excess amount of Fractured-Space Energy eroding the universe's stability, killing all of its inhabitants, including Gerlock. The days leading up to this future would be contained within a Timeline Loop by The Son, who tasked replicant variants of Techno's Inner Circle Heads to enter the loop to change the outcome of the future within it.

The variants succeeded in their mission by ensuring Blackout fulfilled his duties, allowing The Son to use the now stabilized loop as a universal foundation to restore Earth-52319 and change the grim future that would have originally played out. To ensure this future did not repeat itself, all F-Space Energy in the universe was removed from existence as a result of Blackout's success in the loop that now served as the foundation for the new history.[1]

Member of the Forsaken[]

On September 22nd, Gerlock and the rest of Siren's loyalists were recruited by Siren to join her new organization called the Forsaken, seeking to enact vengeance on Techno and its Inner Circle. Following the Forsaken's acquisition of an abandoned warehouse in Midnight City, Gerlock was placed in charge of security patrols around the building's perimeter.[4]

Raid of the Forsaken Warehouse[]

On the night of November 13th, Gerlock was patrolling the perimeter around the warehouse with the five men under his command. Gerlock informed Ketch that they still haven't seen Delta or Joker after they heard from Delta earlier, and Ketch ordered him to inform him of any developments as soon as they occurred. Soon after, one of the exterior security cameras fell off of its post near Gerlock, and Ketch questioned what happened to the feed from his office.

Gerlock informed Ketch that the camera merely fell down and that he would work to fix it. Gerlock left his post and crouched down to inspect the damaged camera, though before he could truly assess the damage, he was stuck from behind by Soteria, who used the energy within her energy sword to incapacitate Gerlock and knock him unconscious. Shortly after Techno finished raiding the warehouse for information, Gerlock was arrested by a P.A.R.A.D.O.X. clean-up crew along with all of the other mercenaries in the area.[2]
