The Gersch Device being primed
The Gersch Device is a Wonder Weapon that appears in Ascension and Moon. The Gersch Device was created by Dr. Gersch and was designed in Russia at the Ascension Base. During one of the easter eggs, it is revealed that Samantha possessed Gersch's assistant to finish the experiment. The Gersch Device is used as an emergency weapon, similar to the Monkey Bomb, but opens up a Black hole that sucks zombies into it and kills them. However, in many instances, the player can use the device as a makeshift 'teleporter', albeit an unpredictable experiment in chance, and as such could both harm the player (if he teleports into a zombie-filled room) or benefit the player. This grenade can only be obtained from the Mystery Box.
