Hannibal Weapon Systems is an arms, vehicle, aircraft, and prototype starship manufacturer based in Vancouver with secondary headquarters in Midnight City. The company manufactures and produces weaponry, equipment, vehicles and VTOL aircraft for Atlas International and its security forces.
It was involved with Atlas International in a joint-development project to develop starships, it developed the technology used in starship engines, but due to an altercation, Hannibal was let go and forced to relinquish its data and research over to Atlas, which led to the megacorporation unveiling the first starship for space travel. This created some bitterness towards the Atlas Council, but because Atlas was a significant part of their sources of revenue due to contracts to supply Atlas, Hannibal remained on good terms to maintain those contracts.
