Hardened Beer is a perk-a-cola introduced in Den Endkampf. It increases penetration damage done by all bullet-based guns. Penetration damage is calculated by a number of things. These things include hitting Zombies through barricades, walls, cars, Panicked Survivors and other Zombies. It costs 2500 points. When Perk-A-Punched, its effect is doubled on bullet-based guns, and explosives can be effected by it now. The perk (when upgraded), has a unique effect on the Ray Gun. When fired directly into a Zombie, it will go through it and hit whatever is behind it at no reduced damage.
It shares it's icon with the Hardened perk from Call of Duty: Black Ops.
