Hybrillium is an experimental serum that is prominently featured in the Call of Duty: Eclipse Warfare Trilogy Zombies saga. Described to be its own type of "element", Hybrillium was original designed and created by the Eclipse Health and Medical Services in an attempt to create a new type of medicine capable of giving soldiers on the frontlines of the Human-Alien Conflict an upperhand in combat. However, the effects of the serum ultimately left an after effect that would ultimately change the way Hybrillium would be used, going from a new medicine to a universal superweapon for countless armies.
In 2255, the Eclipse Military began extensive research and experiments to create weapons that are fully powered by Hybrillium. Some notable projects were the super soldier serums and hi-tech energy weapons being developed at the Ravenclaw Blacksite on Europa.

As the Human-Alien Conflict raged on, the Eclipse Medical and Health Services were tasked with creating a new type of medicine for their troops on the frontlines. With this medicine, it would be capable of empowering the user with unspeakable power, making them nearly unstoppable and practically immune to any sort of damage from enemy fire. With it, it would allow the Galactic Council of Alliances to finally end the long conflict between them and the Opposition.
For several months, the research organization traveled around the universe, sourcing materials and ingredients that would help benefit in creating the serum. Eventually, the team managed to formulate the main ingredients for the serum, which consisted of a concentrated and stabilized mix of certain rare elements from around the universe, and custom brewed herbs designed to help remove the pain of the serum when injected into the user.
One of the most prominent elements in the serum is an uncharted element titled "Element X". This part of the serum would imbue the user the power. However, the scientists of the project discovered that Element X has been a part of human history as early as 2016. They also manage to locate a large deposit of the element at a mineshaft on Fidea VI. As the serum began to reach its finishing stages, miners of the Galactic Council of Alliances were sent to the mine to obtain more samples of Element X.
