Ice Storm is the cosmetic replacement (or spiritual ancestor) for the Nuke in the Zombies game mode. It currently only appears in Generation and L.U.N.A.R. While it has the same effect as the Nuke, it awards 600 points (1200 with Double Points) and kills in a different fashion. In Antartica, the ice crystals hanging from the ceiling will fall, killing each individual Zombie. In the other maps (besides Call of the Dead), the Ice Storm will freeze all the Zombies and cause snow to fall upon the map for the rest of the game. In Call of the Dead, it will cause the fog to get so thick a Zombie will freeze, violently explode and ice shards will fly out of him/her and kill the rest of the Zombies. The Ice Storm has a 12% chance of spawning in the event that a Power-up drops, the least common power-up to drop under normal circumstances. It's icon is a azure coloured Death Machine pick-up icon.
