“See my soul's power for yourselves... Feel it, know it, accept it!”
―Ignotus

Ignotus was an alternate version of Xarcoh from a rip timeline of Earth-92116 indirectly created from the destruction of Earth-52319. Having deviated from his destined path as Xarcoh upon acquiring No Name and foreseeing his original fate, Ignotus believed he was free from the grasps of destiny, seeking to use his freedom and newfound knowledge of the Nexus to assume absolute control over it.

Upon acquiring a synthezoid body originating from the remains of Earth-52319, Ignotus made use of his newfound control over the Unversed to trigger a chain of events that would allow his original human counterpart to unknowingly deliver his Dark Creation-infused Harbinger to him, which was the only object in all of creation that could break the Seal of the Nexus and allow Ignotus to assume command over the interdimensional dominion. Despite succeeding in his goal and ascending to become a god-like entity, Ignotus' lack of an understanding of his true powers held him back as he was confronted one last time by The Son and Umbra Ops, who successfully usurped him from power and destroyed his synthezoid body.

Despite the destruction of his synthezoid form, Ignotus' soul managed to survive and escaped to Earth-61017 through the portal he created during his final confrontation with the heroes. Upon arriving in Earth-61017, Ignotus was drawn into the MPD at the Museum of Unnatural History, where he was able to manipulate its powers to mastermind a zombie outbreak at the museum. Ignotus observed four survivors of the outbreak, and decided that Abigail Payne would suit him best as his next vessel. However, Ignotus' attempts to forcefully possess Abigail backfired, resulting in their souls combining and giving birth to a joint reincarnation of the two.

With little time left before he would lose his individuality, Ignotus managed to temporarily gain control of the new incarnation through sheer willpower long enough to set her up with a new life by stealing Abigail's identity, murdering the other survivors and covering up his crimes. Upon succeeding in his efforts, Ignotus' willpower and individuality disappeared.

Biography[]

A New Purpose[]

Creation of the Rip Timeline[]

In the aftermath of Earth-52319's destruction, a temporal anomaly was created throughout time and space in the multiverse. This anomaly caused the boundaries of the multiverse to fracture, thus making it more exposed to the Nexus, allowing the creation of a rip timeline set in the past during the Soulless' attempt to return back to Limbo.[1]

Seeing the Future[]

After his destruction at the hands of Amici, Xarcoh's soul soon escaped deeper into the fading rift in Tunisia. Asking himself where he could possibly go, Xarcoh was suddenly pulled toward a bright light. As the light faded into darkness, Xarcoh found himself as an apparition, standing on a watery floor in a seemingly endless black void. Looking above him, he spotted countless blue clocks floating above him; turning behind him, he sees he has emerged from a red portal, whereas the few portals next to it were all blue. As Xarcoh questioned where he has emerged, a blue light catches his eye as it drifts toward him from the sky above. Reaching out toward it, the light manifested into No Name, which Xarcoh grabbed ahold of.

Inspecting the weapon and questioning what it was, Xarcoh soon glared into the eye embedded in the weapon's head, causing him to begin to see visions in rapid succession until they pieced together to form complete memories. Through these memories, Xarcoh learned of all of the events that had transpired in the original timeline, including what would be his future. Upon regaining his senses after witnessing what would've been his final death as a member of the Thirteen, Xarcoh realized what was going on: he was in the Nexus, an interdimensional plane that allowed travel to the various multiverses in existence.

Knowing what he had seen was destined to be his ultimate fate in the original timeline, Xarcoh began to laugh with real emotion, something he was unable to do for so long in the original timeline. Xarcoh soon exclaimed to the endless void that he knew what fate intended for him, announcing that from now on, he would walk his own path, one that destiny could not foresee. Xarcoh declared if he was to walk this new path, he was to abandon his old identity, and ultimately leave behind what he once stood for. Raising No Name into the air, he declared his new name, Ignotus, and announced he would find a way to conquer the Nexus and turn it into his own image.[1]

Devising a Plan[]

De-summoning No Name, Ignotus turned to return back through the portal he came through when he noticed one of the adjacent portals was grayed out and cracked. Stepping through it, Ingotus found himself in a white void of nothingness, filled with the ruins of what was once Earth-52319. Among the remains that caught Ignotus' eye was a single unused synthetic body. Grabbing ahold of it and returning back into the Nexus, Ignotus' apparitional form soon expired as his soul entered the body, giving himself a new vessel, which donned his signature black coat. Satisfied, Ignotus soon returned back to his rip timeline, emerging back in underground chamber in Tunisia.

Using some of the knowledge he was given by No Name apart from the memories of his future, Ignotus began planning how he would assume control over the Nexus when he immediately discovered a problem; when the Nexus was created, The Father created a special seal that prohibited anyone from altering it, including The Son and the Nexus Apparitions. To accommodate for this, Ignotus sought to find a way to bypass this setback, and used No Name to observe past events that led up to the Nexus' creation.

Ignotus soon discovered a loophole: when The Father created the Nexus, he used No Name one last time to see the events to come to ensure his seal was never broken. However, he could only see the span of history No Name was wielded in a consecutive amount of time following the Nexus' creation. This meant The Father could only see up until the events of the Boss Rush Tournament, as that was when No Name returned to the Nexus without an owner for the first time since its creation. Because of this, The Father believed that the last of Dark Creation, the only powerful enough substance to break the seal, was gone, and the last of it was safeguarded by a well known hero of light.[1]

Conjuring the Unversed[]

With this loophole now dawned, Ignotus set his eyes on the Harbinger, more specifically the one wielded by his complete self in the original timeline, as this version contained the remaining essence of Dark Creation within it following its reforge. Ignotus soon planned to have his complete self from the original timeline venture into the rip timeline, where he would steal his Harbinger and use it to fulfill his plan. Wishing to find a way to coax this into happening, Ignotus used No Name to learn of creatures known as the Unversed, which were physical manifestations of powerful negative thoughts and emotions from strong-willed souls with great ties to darkness.

Knowing he had a powerful enough soul to conjure the Unversed, Ignotus tapped into his soul to form negative powers to generate an army of Unversed. Ignotus then dispatched the Unversed into the Nexus using his newfound power with No Name, where they would begin leaking into other universes and wreak havoc. Knowing it would only be a matter of time before the heroes found out what was going on, Ignotus opened a dark corridor and stepped through it, warping away in order to prepare himself for the next phase of his master plan.[1]

Theft of the Harbinger[]

Preparing the Labyrinth[]

Ignotus emerged from his corridor at the rip timeline's Graveyard of the Ancients, taking in the sights around him. He then proceeded to walk through a small canyon path ahead of him before reaching a vast opening of the badlands. Seeing the clearing ahead of him, Ignotus summoned No Name and pointed it in front of him, telling himself that it was nearly time. No Name then began to charge up with a surge of energy in his hand as he then plunged the blade into the ground, sending out a shockwave that rippled across the clearing.

As the skies darken, multiple stone structures shot out from the ground, forming a massive stone labyrinthine below a forming portal in the sky. Ignotus then levitated to the top of the canyon he passed through, where he oversaw the span of the labyrinthine in the horizon. With No Name in hand, he watched as a large stone pillar formed at the base of the maze's center and below the portal. Ignotus then chuckled to himself as lightning struck in the distance.[1]

Meeting the Heroes[]

Sometime later, the heroes, consisting of Mr. Tachibana, Umbra Ops and Amici, arrived at the Graveyard of the Ancients after traversing through the Realm Between. Upon exiting the canyon, the group spotted a hooded figure standing in the second opening alone. The figure congratulated the heroes on their journey thus far, saying that they knew it was one they would be willing to partake in. Roach cautiously readied his sidearm, asking the figure how they knew who they are and what they've been doing. The figure chuckled, asking Roach if he would really be willing to shoot himself. Roach gasped as the figure turned to face them, pulling down their hood to reveal their synthetic body.

Though physically different, Roach immediately identified the figure as Xarcoh, calling out his name. Ignotus chuckled, saying that he had since abandoned that name in exchange for a new one, reintroducing himself as Ignotus. A brief aura of dark energy fumed off of Ignotus, causing Mac to realize that he was the source of the Unversed. Ignotus confirmed this suspicion, saying he learned of the Unversed after becoming aware of what would've been his future in the original timeline. Tachibana asked how he figured this out before Ignotus chuckled, extending his right hand out beside him and summoning No Name. The heroes gasp at the sight of No Name, recognizing it from the Boss Rush Tournament as Tachibana frantically questioned how he acquired it.

Ignotus explained that he found it when he first entered the Nexus, as the weapon returned there once the Grandmaster was slain. Tachibana furiously questioned how he even got into the Nexus, as he most certainly did not give him the power to access it. Ignotus revealed that following his physical destruction at the hands of Amici in Tunisia, his soul traveled through the rift he created in search of a place for it to rest. While traveling, he was instead brought into the Nexus, where he discovered No Name and used its powers to learn of the events of the original timeline, including what would be his ultimate fate and future.

Gary questioned Ignotus how he now had a body, who revealed he acquired a synthetic body from a destroyed universe connected to the rest of their multiverse. Tachibana then realized that he was referring to Earth-52319, theorizing that its destruction caused a temporal paradox throughout the multiverse that allowed the creation of this rip timeline. Just then, the Unversed started to converge around them, and the heroes further questioned Ignotus on what he was planning on doing. Ignotus remarked that if they really wanted to find out more, then they must proceed through the labyrinthine behind him to seek out their answers before warping away.[1]

Goal Achieved[]

Once the heroes reached the top of the pillar at the center of the maze, Ignotus appeared before them, mockingly asking if all the fighting was wearing them down. Angered, Roach summoned the Harbinger, telling Ignotus to drop the act and tell them what was going on. Instead of summoning No Name, Ignotus instead summoned his Harbinger and pointed it exactly how Roach was toward him, cryptically remarking that "it" was incomplete. While the heroes are confused by this, Ignotus chuckled to himself before offering the group a final clue in the form of the Iron Imprisoner before warping away laughing.

Upon defeating the Iron Imprisoner, the ground suddenly shook as lightning began to strike around the maze before the bolts struck upward into the portal above, revealing a spatial-like padlock in the form of a constellation. While the heroes questioned what it was, Ignotus warped behind Roach, sideswiping him and causing him to drop his Harbinger while his guard was down. Ignotus quickly grabbed it while dropping his own Harbinger onto the ground, and before the other heroes could react, Ignotus used Roach's Harbinger to knock them down with a powerful shockwave, causing their weapons to blow off the side of the pillar and into the maze below.

Ignotus levitated toward the lock, revealing that it was the seal of the Nexus and explaining that The Father created it in order to prevent the Nexus from ever being changed; not even The Son or Nexus Apparitions could do such a feat as the seal prevented them from doing so. Roach asked what he was doing with his Harbinger before Ignotus reminded him of what was imbued within it; Dark Creation, a substance that could manipulate destiny. Ignotus explained that The Father could only use No Name to see into the future it was being consecutively passed through, saying The Father only saw up until the events of the Boss Rush Tournament and nothing after it, as No Name returned to the Nexus without an owner that was gifted the weapon.

Because of this, The Father thought that Dark Creation, the only substance powerful enough to break the seal, was forever gone and entrusted in the right hands in the form of Roach and his Harbinger. Ignotus then revealed that everything that had happened with the Unversed was all part of his plan in order to lure Roach into the rip timeline so he could steal his Harbinger and open the seal, allowing him to assume control of the Nexus and reshape it into his own image. Ignotus then mocked Tachibana, thanking him for everything he had done to make this possible before sending a beam of energy from the Harbinger into the lock, causing it to shatter and for Ignotus to be consumed by a beam of cosmic energy. As Ignotus laughed in victory as his physical appearance changed, he then entered the portal above, which immediately closed behind him in a thunderous explosion.[1]

Keeper of the Nexus Dimension[]

Establishing Authority[]

In the span of ten seconds after arriving at the Nexus, Ignotus had already began work on asserting his authority, first by manipulating a majority of the Nexus Apparitions and transforming them into his personal servants. He soon created a pocket dimension contained in the heart of the Nexus, a paradise for him and his forces to reside at while controlling every universe and timeline bound to the Nexus.

During this brief period in control of the Nexus, Ignotus was recognized by the Order of the Nine as a Keeper of the Nexus Dimension. Unbeknownst to Ignotus, The Son, with the help of an apparition of The Father left behind as part of an elaborate failsafe plan, soon came to realize who he truly was, and through finally accepting the loss and guilt through his various hosts, he was able to unlock a power Ignotus would not be able to stop.[1]

Intrusion of the Heroes[]

While enjoying his new paradise, Ignotus began to sense something was wrong. Materializing on the roof of his citadel, he looked down toward the town below, where he spotted the heroes fighting their way through his Heretic Apparitions and Unversed. Horrified on their arrival and that his position as ruler of the Nexus might not last, Ignotus began to scheme a way to defeat the heroes before having to fight them himself as a last resort. Noticing the apparitions were not fading away after being defeated, Ignotus then hatched an idea.

After the heroes defeated all of the apparitions and activated the newly formed Unversed orb, Ignotus materialized before them, encased in a protective barrier. Ignotus mocked the heroes for entering the Nexus with the knowledge of the limitless power he possessed, though the heroes call him out as a coward for not fighting against them directly. Ignotus simply scoffed at their comments, saying that there can't be a game without pawns before snapping his fingers. Suddenly, the apparitions around the town are lifted into the air as they dissolve into white and black orbs of darkness, which are shot up to the top of the citadel. As the orbs combine, the skies above darken as a red ring of energy materialized above the main mountain town.

The heroes question what was going on, though Ignotus merely chuckled before warping away. Appearing back on the top of his citadel, Ignotus watched as the Trinity Armor took form from the apparition's remnants and began to fight the heroes. Unfortunately for Ignotus, the Trinity Armor was ultimately defeated, causing to it rise into the air and explode in a surge of dark energy, destroying the red ring overhead. Ignotus soon angrily yelled from the top of the citadel, furious over the constant interference from the heroes. Ignotus proclaimed retaliation, announcing that he would use his powers to purge Earth-61017 from existence, and all other universes they held dear to them as punishment for their attempts to stop him. With that, Ignotus used Roach's stolen Harbinger to form a yellow portal leading to Earth-61017 in the skies above the citadel.[1]

Final Battle[]

Not long after making his threat, the heroes ascended the roof of the citadel, where Ignotus stood before them. Ignotus remarked that in another place, another time, he bared no soul, and when he finally got one, he never did anything with its power as he underestimated it as nothing more than a distraction. Ignotus then held one hand out while placing the other on his chest, remarking that things were different now and telling the heroes to see his soul's power for themselves. In his other hand, Ignotus summoned an orb of darkness, continuing that they will feel, know and accept his soul as he proceeded to slam his hand with the orb into the ground, causing a surge of darkness to surround him that summoned an army of Unversed.

Though the heroes quickly prepare themselves to fight the Unversed, Ignotus merely chuckled as he began to emit a dark aura, proceeding to create a large gravitational pull that began to suck everything toward him. While the heroes struggled to maintain a foothold, all of the Unversed were absorbed into Ignotus, who proceeded to rise into the air and pulse with dark energy. Ignotus clenched his fists and curled up, releasing a massive dark shockwave that sent the heroes backwards while he was then encased by a large orb of darkness. As the heroes recovered, a large Unversed symbol formed near the top of the orb as a pillar of darkness connected the orb to the ground and two dark wings sprouted out from the sides of the orb. Peterson nervously asked what was happening as two Unversed eyes appeared on the front of the orb, followed by a mouth as it let out a terrifying shriek. Knowing what must be done, the heroes engaged the Unversed in a massive fight as it encased the area in a sphere of darkness.

After defeating the Unversed, it began to form purple cracks around it. As the glow in the cracks brighten, the Unversed exploded, causing the dark sphere encasing the arena to explode and cleanse it of darkness, turning the dark sky into that of a beautiful night sky. As the light of the portal overhead shined down onto the citadel roof, Ignotus, having survived, stood up from the ground and angrily remarked that it was far from over. As Ignoted attempted to open a dark corridor to escape, he quickly discovered that nothing was happening. Realizing that there was no escape and that he had lost the power to conjure the Unversed as a result of all of his darkness being purged, Ignotus screamed in anger as the heroes basked in their victory.

The Son then ordered Ignotus to stand down and accept defeat, though the latter refused, stating that he didn't need darkness in order to destroy them before summoning the stolen Harbinger. Ignotus remarked that once he destroyed them once and for all, he would erase every universe connected to the Nexus that he could, and create perfect new ones in his image in their place as everyone prepared for the final battle. As the battle raged, the heroes gave their best to defeat Ignotus, though despite weakening him greatly, Ignotus was able to overwhelm the heroes by unleashing a powerful blast of energy from within him, scattering everyone around the arena.

Ignotus quickly targeted Rook, kicking him back down as he prepared to kill him. Before Ignotus could follow through with the execution, The Son screamed for him to stop. Complying, Ignotus questioned if they were going to surrender, though The Son remarked that it was him he wanted to destroy, asking for Ignotus to spare the others in exchange for killing him. Horrified, the others begged for The Son to turn down the deal, though Ignotus eagerly accepted his proposal, saying that they would have his word. The Son stood up, ready to take the fatal blow, as Ignotus readied the stolen Harbinger and charged at him. However, The Son grinned in reponse, and summoned Ignotus' former Harbinger to counter the attack, resulting in a massive clash between the two swords.

Shocked, Ignotus tried to break through, though The Son stood his ground. As the words of his former hosts echoed back to him, The Son began to overpower Ignotus. However, the clash had weakened both of the Harbingers immensely, and as the struggle continued, both of the swords ultimately gave in and crumbled to pieces, resulting in an explosion that sent the two backwards. Severely battered by the explosion, Ignotus attempted to cope with what just happened. Before he could regain his senses any further, The Son began to charge at him as his arms started to surge with white energy. Desperate to stop the incoming assault, Ignotus summoned No Name and attempted to slash at him, though The Son ducked under his attack and proceeded to punch Ignotus, the force and power within his hands are enough to completely shatter Ignotus' synthetic body into pieces.

As No Name fell to the ground, The Son stood over the remains of Ignotus' body, which began to glow white and fade away into the light emitting from the portal overhead; with Ignotus' defeat, The Son reclaimed the discarded No Name, and in the process regained his rightful place as the Nexus' ruler before using No Name to seal off Ignotus' portal to Earth-61017 and revert his paradise back to nothingness.[1]

Final Attempt at Life[]

Entering the MPD[]

Things however were not as they seemed, as unbeknownst to everyone, Ignotus had indeed survived his apparent destruction at the hands of The Son. Following his synthetic body's destruction, the result released his soul, leaving him without a vessel once more. As his former body faded away, Ignotus disguised his soul as one of the many light particles ascending into the light of the portal above, using it as a means of escaping the heroes and traveling to Earth-61017 in search of another vessel.

Ignotus' soul arrived in Earth-61017 in two weeks time following his apparent demise, where it ended up being forced inside of Earth-31218's MPD, which had been brought into Earth-61017 as a result of yet another consequence of Earth-52319's destruction. Within the MPD, which was now being displayed at the Museum of Unnatural History in the Louisiana marshes, Ignotus tapped into the leftover Aetherian energies left behind by Gruntijackal years ago to send out a powerful shockwave, which caused anyone to be caught in it to be turned into a zombie.[1]

Accidental Reincarnation[]

As a zombie outbreak began to surge within the museum, Ignotus soon became the Demonic Announcer for the outbreak within the museum, assuming control of his new undead army while forcing any of the survivors left to fend for their lives, using this as a means of testing them to see who would be worthy enough to serve as his next vessel. In the end, four survivors remained: Abigail Payne, Jane Samson, Marcus Hudson and Theodore Hudson. To cover his act, Ignotus, disguising his voice, told the survivors that only by opening the MPD would the path to ending this nightmare reveal itself.

Taking note of each of the survivors, Ignotus ultimately concluded that Abigail would be his next vessel, and soon manipulated her into tricking her allies in letting her open the MPD alone. With Abigail separated, Ignotus was able to trick her into opening the MPD using the Omega Key she and her allies had procured earlier, thus allowing Ignotus to subconsciously confront her by transferring his soul through the key and into her body. Within Abigail's mindscape, Ignotus revealed to Abigail his intentions to possess her before forcibly fusing his soul with her own in an attempt to seize control of her body for himself.

Ignotus' actions however caused their united soul to purge both of their influences to create an entirely new person. In the real world, Abigail-Ignotus is born, though Ignotus' strong influence briefly remained in control for the time being. Using this opportunity to set up his reincarnation with a proper life, Ignotus murdered the remaining museum survivors and destroyed all evidence of Abigail's presence at the museum before fleeing to Golden Oak University to assume Abigail's identity. Once Abigail-Ignotus' soul developed enough, the last of Ignotus' individuality was stripped away, thus relinquishing control of Abigail's former body to their new joint reincarnation.[1]

Appearance[]

Initially, Ignotus looked identical to Xarcoh. However, after his soul came to find a new vessel in the form of an unused synthetic body acquired from the destroyed Earth-52319, Ignotus lost any and all resemblance to his previous self. His body is primarily black in color, with silver and grey outlines on certain parts of his body, most noticeably around the base of his head. He continued to wear his previous black coat, and wore it with the hood up until he revealed his identity to the heroes at the Graveyard of the Ancients. Due to his change of body, his voice was vastly different compared to his original one, though his mannerisms still resembled Xarcoh's to a degree, as Roach was able to identify Ignotus as Xarcoh despite his new look.

Once Ignotus ascended into the Nexus as its new ruler, his appearance drastically changed to accommodate his position and power. His synthetic body now surged with light blue cosmic energy, and his head lacked the silver marking around the base of it, with it instead being replaced by a metallic half-ring with a purple line. The front of his black coat became completely unzipped, and was tattered at the bottom of the coat. The coat also became adorned with purple markings, and the coat's sleeves became tighter around his arms, which now had built-in fingerless gloves with more purple markings higher up on the sides of the sleeves. The hood of his black coat also was unable to go completely over his head, and remained in place behind his neck, acting as a large collar. His boots were now light blue in color, and were mostly the same shape as before.

While appearing as a blue misty apparition within the MPD, Ignotus reverted to his original sleek-black Synthezoid form wearing a black coat with his hood down. However, his body was in much disrepair and heavily battered to signify his weakened state.

Personality[]

Being an alternate version of Xarcoh from the time he departed Earth-92116 as a soul, Ignotus was capable of displaying his true emotions and power much earlier than Xarcoh, as his deviation to the Nexus after his defeat by the hands of Amici prevented him from being corrupted by the Yin Blade. Having seen his original future through the powers of No Name, Ignotus became overwhelmed by a sense of freedom unlike any other, as he now could completely derail his original fate for a future of his own liking, believing that it was unfair for his future to have been already dictated by otherworldly forces. This belief would ultimately stem to form a deep hatred for The Son and the forces of the Nexus, viewing them as dictators with no regard to the lives under their rule.

With his viewpoints, Ignotus made it his mission to assume control of the Nexus, seemingly to obtain absolute power when in reality it was to ultimately reshape the universes bound to the Nexus, creating new ones in their place free of destiny that would allow their inhabitants to truly dictate their lives. His ruthlessness and snarky arrogance toward the heroes that fought to stop him would lead Ignotus to believe that what he was doing was indeed righteous and justifiable, seeing them as nothing more than fools blindly following fate. However, his hatred toward The Son made Ignotus unable to accept the true purpose of the Nexus, believing him to be a liar, even when The Son swore that Ignotus' actions were damaging the stability of every multiverse connected to the Nexus, countering that unknown chaos would lead to a far more destructive future than one that was laid out ahead of time. In spite of his differences with the heroes, Ignotus displayed a small sense of honor, swearing that he would uphold his end of the deal he made with The Son to spare the others.

After his ultimate defeat at the hands of The Son, Ignotus allowed his soul to escape into a portal to Earth-61017, ready to begin again by acquring a new body. His corporeal form allowed him to enter the MPD and assume control over its residual Aetherian energies, in which he recklessly started a zombie outbreak at the museum housing the MPD. Amidst the carnage, Ignotus showed little care for anyone caught in his machinations besides four survivors of the outbreak, deciding that one of them would be his next vessel. This vessel would end up being Abigail Payne, who Ignotus manipulated into opening the MPD by goading her ego, allowing him to transfer his soul into her body. However, Ignotus' hasty efforts backfired horrifically for him, as his attempt to consume Abigail's soul only caused them to fuse, creating a joint reincarnation of Abigail and himself using Abigail's body.

Now on the cusp of forever disappearing, Ignotus did everything he could to maintain control of the reincarnation, though he would slowly lose himself. Nonetheless, Ignotus' strong willpower granted him momentary control of the body, which he made use of to murder the other survivors and wipe any evidence of his presence at the museum, granting his reincarnation the chance to begin anew without being held accountable for the museum massacre before his willpower expired. Ignotus' actions however deeply scarred his new incarnation, who initially viewed herself as a monster because of this and firmly believed she didn't deserve anything.

Abilities[]

As a version of Xarcoh, Ignotus possessed many similar fighting styles to him. However, after using his soul to tap further into darkness, he rejected Limbo's darkness in exchange for a more powerful version of darkness in the form of negative emotions and powers.

With this power, Ignotus had the ability to create Unversed, which are physical manifestations of his powers. Ignotus had also become more proficient in creating dark corridors for fast travel across distances and even other dimensions, far faster and earlier than Xarcoh could master. He can also teleport short distances without using a dark corridor, with each of his disappearances and reappearances taking on the form of him phasing in and out of existence.

After ascending as the ruler of the Nexus, Ignotus received omnipotent powers, such as agelessness, supreme strength, and the ability to channel his newfound powers through the weapons he summons. He also has access to a variety of cosmic-like energy attacks that are derived from both The Father and The Son, making him one of the most powerful beings in all of existence.
