The Illuminati-Group 935 Cold War was a Cold War which spanned over 70 years. It began as a result of Ludvig Maxis beginning efforts to mass produce Group 935 product under the orders of Adolf Hitler. The Illuminati became mistrusting of the Group as the mass production threatened World War II's potential length dramatically. The Illuminati increased pressure on Hitler to invade Poland earlier, which ended up in World War II beginning, halting Group 935's progress on non-weaponry based experiments. As a result, the two began an arms race and became shady as the world fell apart.

The Cold War caused massive amounts of weaponry to appear on both sides. The Illuminati planned to control the Zombies via Edward Richtofen, however the massive delay of 70 years resulted in the Cold War to extend. When Richtofen took control of the Zombies, Ludvig Maxis's computer AI launched missiles at Earth, heavily damaging it and destroying much of the Illuminati's Africa based technology. The Illuminati declared war on Group 935 not long afterwards, beginning the Illuminati-Group 935 War.
