Jay Carter is a character featured in Inzurrection. He is the youngest survivor that crashes on the edge of Wentbury Forest. A brash and irritating individual, he has alienated his fellow survivors. However, his gun-handling ability keeps him around, and the group often find amusement in his narcissism.

Jay sports a black crew cut and a soul patch over light stubble. He wears a dark grey windbreaker over a white shirt, a pair of stonewashed jeans and black trainers. He has a fairly large scar on his left hand, which is visible during gameplay.

- Jay's windbreaker has CXV emblazoned on the front of it, which is the roman numerals for 115. This refers to Element 115, the cause of the zombies in the canon storyline.
