The KA-BAR Combat Knife, also referred to simply as the KA-BAR, is a knife that appears in some fanon maps.
Remember When...[]
The KA-BAR Combat Knife appears in the Remember When... storyline. It is the starting knife on all maps and it replaces the SOG Knife from previous storylines. It has a short effective range and a fast slashing speed. It is one out of six pieces of equipment in the storyline. Its low damage makes it good for early rounds. It can only be obtained by starting a match or dying then repawning.
Effectiveness[]
The KA-BAR Combat Knife is a good weapon to keep for early rounds due to its low damage. It has a one-hit kill up until Round 2, and it slowly loses its effectiveness afterwards. Due to the fact that the weapon has a fast slashing speed means that a player can get numerous slashes on a zombie quickly. The KA-BAR Combat Knife should be traded for either the Machete or Claymore by Round 9.
Golding's Island[]
The KA-BAR appears in Golding's Island as a replacement for the standard Knife. It's damage is slightly reduced, but it is much quicker.
