Kritzkrieg is a power-up introduced in Fortune's End. It was created by Ebon Shadowshot over the course of months for an unknown purpose. It doubles the damage (or makes them "crit") on all weapons for thirty seconds. Kritzkrieg doesn't drop under normal circumstances, and must be purchased. Kritzkrieg appears as what looks like a red perk bottle. It costs 6,500 points to purchase, and upon purchasing all Zombies have a chance of dropping Kritzkrieg. It's icon is that of a red random gun.

Trivia

• Ebon appears to Rebecca Chang or Raymond Sullivan upon it's purchase if either one of the two bought it. He does this for numerous other guns and perks. Chuck and Stacey are spoken to by Dead Raiser because Ebon has "an important ritual to do".
• "Kritzkrieg" is a combination of the word "Crit" and "Blitzkrieg", an act performed in World War II to bomb England's cities into oblivion. The Kritzkrieg's name comes from the medi-gun of the same name from Team Fortress 2.
