Boss Rush Futuristic Redemption

“We like to observe others, to reimagine them in our own way. We do this because unlike other Apparitions, we like to change things. And because we are not the Ruler, history goes unchanged and does not become a threat.”
―Loki

Loki is one of the unique Nexus Apparitions of the Nexus. When The Father's failsafe activated, Loki came into existence and assisted his fellow brethren in being caretakers of the Nexus. He was originally the Fourth Apparition, until replaced by his sister Freyja.

During the events of The Final Chapter, he was one of the few unique Nexus Apparitions to side with Ignotus, solely based on the fact that he wielded No Name, which is also the reasoning for him being spared by the The Son after Ignotus was defeated by him and his group. This decision was opposed by many unique Apparitions, including Thor and Sif. Odin understood The Son's judgement and remained friendly towards Loki.

Loki made his first appearance, albeit with a generic design, in Boss Rush as a Boss who utilized telekinesis. He will reappear in the 2023 film Futuristic Redemption, alongside his brothers Thor, Odin and sisters Sif and Freyja, as a major supporting character.

Personality[]

Loki is vastly different than how he is portrayed in Norse Mythology. Instead of being the God of Mischief, he is often found observing individuals in the Nexus, finding enjoyment in doing so but also feeling empathy for unfortunate beings who suffer through hard situations that would otherwise destroy their will to continue on. He would replicate an individual's Essence and recreate them in another universe, as a sort of salvation. This personality of his was noted by other Apparitions to be another reason of why he sided with Ignotus, because he felt empathy for his situation, despite knowing the dangers he posed to the Nexus but chose to ignore it.

As a Heretic Apparition, he searched for the Apparition resistance, not to eradicate but to convince them of Ignotus' hardships. To try and not allow themselves to fight amongst each other over allegiance, ultimately, Loki is way more caring about his fellow brethren and their lives than how Norse Mythology portrays him to be.

Trivia[]

  • Like Thor, Odin and Sif, his physical appearance is much different than how he is depicted in Norse Mythology.
