The Megacorporation Global Alliance (abbreviated as MGA) is an intergovernmental organization formed in direct response to the Twilight Collective's uprising. The alliance is comprised of representatives from each megacorporation, and was initially formed to eliminate the Twilight Collective before shifting its focus to ratify and maintain proper international peace, unity and stability between all countries, city-states and territories under megacorporation jurisdiction.

On March 5th, 2145, the Twilight Collective besieged Atlas Tower in Midnight City, driving the Atlas Council out and allowing the collective's members scattered throughout the city-state to rise up and take arms to fight Atlas International's now scattered forces. In the days that followed, various other Twilight Collective cells around the world launched their own attacks on other megacorporations in power. In response to this crisis, key representatives from each independent megacorporation were sent to Paradise Island to ensure their safety and to form the beginnings of the Megacorporation Global Alliance to combat the Twilight Collective.[1]
