Overview[]

The Multiverse, sometimes called the Metaverse or Infiniteverse, is the collaboration of and infinite number of possible universes (including the historical universe we consistently experience) that, together, comprise everything that can and does exist; space, time, matter, and energy, as well as physical laws and constants that describe them. The term "multiverse" was coined in 1895 by the American philosopher and psychologist William James. The various universes within the Multiverse are sometimes referred to as "parallel universes".

The structure of the Multiverse, the nature of each universe within it, and the relationship between the various constituent universes depends on the specific multiverse hypothesis considered. Multiverses have been hypothesized in cosmology, physics, astronomy, religion, philosophy, transpersonal psychology, and fiction, particularly in science fiction and fantasy. In these contexts, parallel universes are also called "alternative universes", "quantum universes", "interpenetrating dimensions", "parallel dimensions", "parallel worlds", "alternative realities", "alternative timelines", and "dimensional planes," among others. A certain section of the Multiverse that has several universes that actually interact with each other is called a "crossverse".

Nazi Zombies[]

In Nazi Zombies, the Multiverse is comprised of every storyline ever made and every storyline that will be made by the users of the Nazi Zombies Plus Wiki, including the canonical storyline. In technicality, the storylines are their own universe.

Apocalypse VI: Realms of the Multiverse[]

In the storyline Apocalypse VI: Realms of the Multiverse, Central Intelligence Agency agents Alex Mason, Jason Hudson, Grigori Weaver, and James Ryan discover the Multiverse, thus discovering Mason's Multiverse Counterpart. Mason's Multiverse Counterpart explains to them that what Mason was dreaming about was actually occuring in a different universe and Dreamland, not his. Mason argues "who cares?". Mason's Multiverse Counterpart informs him the the universes of the Multiverse have begun to purge on themselves, and that to save his own universe he must stop the purge. After fighting their way through several locations and universes of the Multiverse, including Hell and Dreamland, they eventually locate and restore the Focussing Stone, which stops the purge of the Multiverse. Mason's Multiverse Counterpart says farewell to Mason and his fellow agents, and sends them back to their own time period and universe (the sinking of the Rusalka). The Focussing Stone was placed at the bottom of the ocean within the Rusalka.
