Neomuna is a city on Paradise Island located 26 miles north of New Elpis. A coastal city, Neomuna is the central port city for Paradise Island. Although not as luxuriant as New Elpis, it was still an important area for the Mirage Corporation, as their subsidiary Mirage Shipping was headquartered here and handled all shipping operations, including postal services. The Neomuni Police Service, in addition to Mirage Security, provided law enforcement to the city's residents. After the acquisition of the Mirage Corporation, this legacy would be carried on by Atlas International by establishing a P.A.R.A.D.O.X. branch and Atlas Security Service precincts within the city.
It is commonly speculated that Techno members Biggs and Wedge were originally from Neomuna, and that the city was where former Techno leader Isabelle Lakewood went to after her dismissal from the organization. It is also known that because of its status as a port city, major criminal organizations use the vast network of shipping operations as a means to smuggle goods, arms and technology in and out of Paradise Island. Shadow Company once used the local Neomuni shipping company Strider Freight & Shipping for an operation.
