The Panzerschreck is a German rocket launcher featured in all canon maps in Call of Duty: World at War.

Canon[]
The Panzerschreck is only available from the Mystery Box. It possesses a slow rate of fire, very high power, low accuracy, and low recoil. Among many players, the Panzerschreck is looked down upon, due to its long reload time, how it has almost no mobility, and how it can down the player if fired too close. However, the Panzerschreck can be useful in ways other weapons aren't, such as clearing hordes. Despite this, the Panzerschreck should either be traded or not used unless if a giant horde is following the player.
Pack-a-Punched Variant[]

The Longinus
The Pack-a-Punched Panzerschreck becomes the "Longinus," obtaining more ammo, more held rockets, more splash damage, and the ability to reload all rockets in one. It is useful for clearing out many zombies from a distance [or when a monkey bomb is thrown at the crowd of zombies as a distraction], but is virtually useless in almost every other situation.
