Paradise Island is an independent island country in the Arc 3 universe, formerly owned by the Mirage Corporation and currently owned by Atlas International. It is located roughly two hundred miles southeast off of the former United States eastern coastline from South Carolina. The country's largest city and capital is New Elpis, and its official language is English.

- Paradise Island's name, flag and capital city of New Elpis were all originally from a middle school project the author made.
- A redux of the flag was later created on May 7th, 2022.
- The colors chosen for the flag would unironically go on to fulfill a deeper meaning for Paradise Island's depiction in the Roach Chronicles.
- The blue stripe signifies determination, liberation, alertness and good fortune.
- The black stripe also signifies determination, as well as ethnic heritage and/or the defeat of enemies. It can also be used as a symbol of death or mourning.
- The green stripe is seen as a symbol of agricultural influence, as well as prosperity and fertility. It can also be viewed as youthfulness and hope.
- The red circle symbolizes power, revolution, vibrancy and war (symbolic of bloodshed). Other meanings include courage and domination, while it can also be viewed as an alert of danger.
- The yellow star within the circle is seen as a symbol of wealth and energy, as in the sun. It can also be used to represent happiness.
