General of the Locust Horde RAAM was a Drone who arose very quickly in ranks of the Locust Military, eventually achieving the rank of General of the entire military, being equally ranked to High Priest Skorge in the Locust Horde. When the multiverse was shattered on the Moon, the fabric of the 'Gears' universe was split, bringing them to England.

In Zombies

World of Death

Almost immediatley upon arriving in England, RAAM came under attack by the Zombie hordes of England. Having spread after being failed to being cleared in London, RAAM fought his way out of the building he had arrived at, and eventually came across Jir'Ko, the Kantus who taught RAAM how to verbally control the ravenous Kryll. Jir'Ko and RAAM then came across Queen Myrrah and Skorge. Myrrah grabbed a Digger and blew a hole in a nearby wall. Skorge grabbed his chainsaw staff and ripped through the debris, however the ceiling began to collapse, and RAAM dived through the hole, losing his serrated blade in the process.

The group then eventually found M1911's, and Zombies began to break through the wall's and the wreckage.

Elemental Ascendance

It is revealed by Sylvanas Windrunner that through RAAM's tactics, the Locust Horde spread out from England and conquered all of Western Europe up until the Nuclear remains of Steelport in Germany.

RAAM agreed to come to Northrend along with the Horde's army to fight the Twilight's Hammer and the Dragons. The Horde's arrival managed to turn the tide in battle, and the Temple was eventually saved. When Deathwing fled the Temple, RAAM mounted a Reaver along with Myrrah, Skorge, Jir'Ko, Sylvanas and the Wiki Users to pursue him.

Twilight Dragons and their Vrykul riders began to assault the Reavers, and they retaliated. Unfortunatley, Magma-Man's Reaver was shot down, sending both of them into the Ocean below. Once all the Vrykul were dead, the Dragons retreated.

During the final confrontation, RAAM paired up with Myrrah on Kalecgos' platform to break Deathwing's arms and send him to a fiery grave. Once all of the arms were dead, Deathwing desperatley lept onto Ysera's platform. Deathwing began to glow so RAAM pulled the Queen behind him. The explosion left Myrrah unscathed, but it incinerated RAAM, Skorge and Ebon. Although Ebon was later resurrected, there were no Val'kyr at the time to save them as they were too far damaged.

Trivia

• Contrary to popular belief, 'RAAM' is not an anagram.
• It is speculated that RAAM's famous serrated blade will be availible eventually in World of Death. Since weapons from Gears of War are featured in the map, it is not a wild theory.
• RAAM is massive in size, clearly towering over Myrrah and Jir'Ko. Skorge, however, is nearly his size. RAAM is a few inches taller than Boomers.
• RAAM's 'theme song' activated during the Kryllstorm major easter egg is Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold.
