The Random Attachment Crate (sometimes shortened to Random Attachment or Attachment Crate), is a power-up which debuted in Wald des Todes. It gives the player who receives it a random attachment for their gun. If a player already owns an attachment (for example, the AUG upgraded), the attachment is replaced. This can be done an unlimited amount of times. It's icon is a crate (about the same size as Max Ammo), with a Red Dot Sight on the top. Some weapons cannot receive random attachments, so an attachment will be added to a gun that can feature one. If both (or all three) of the Player's weapons cannot be attached, nothing will happen and the powerup is wasted.
Weapons that can't receive attachments include:
- Wunderwaffe DG-2
- Ray Gun
- Tsunami Cannon
- Thundergun
- The Afterburner (Although it will keep any attachments obtained when it was an MP40)
Trivia[]
- Some consider that the Random Attachment Crate has replaced Max Ammo as the best power-up, due to the fact that it can provide a Masterkey or Flamethrower to the gun.
