The Ray Gun Mark II is a DLC weapon that came with Call of Duty: Black Ops II's Vengeance DLC. After obtaining the DLC, players are able to obtain the weapon from the box on any other map. It is supposed to be an updated version of the Ray Gun from previous maps and games.
Function[]
Unlike its predecessor, the Ray Gun Mark II does not fire a wave, but instead bullet like lasers that are fired in rapid succession in a 3 round burst. The weapon has 21 ammo in a clip with 210 reserve ammo.
Pack-A-Punch[]
When Pack-A-Punched, the "Ray Gun Mark II" becomes the "Porter's Mark II Ray Gun", which is a reference to the Ray Gun's Pack-A-Punched Variant and it's creator, Henry Porter. It doubles its ammo to 42 and its reserve to 420. It also gets a damage boost.
New Dawn[]
The Ray Gun MK II appears in New Dawn.
