Reflections are a special type of artificial bodies introduced in Boss Rush.
Overview[]
Forged from a combination of magic from Prima Materia and the mystical properties of the Delphi Amphitheatre, reflections are capable of "catching" the strong lingering thoughts of deceased entities, including ones that physically do not currently exist due to varying paradoxical factors. Designed in the form of glass mannequins, they will outwardly reflect the physical appearance of the thoughts inhabiting a reflection body to the finest detail, including their outfits.
To ensure those who cannot physically exist can remain, a reflection body will grant them certain aspects to allow them to exist as their own entity, such as giving souls to Xirsch, Yaxnor and Lextyr to avoid a paradox with their respective human counterparts, restoring Gigabyte's lost evil programming he had while he served under Omnitron, and having Erebus' reflection body siphon memories remotely from both Roach and Xarcoh to meld into a singular soul for him.
Reflection bodies are also capable of restoring souls that have been completely destroyed by using the memories contained within the strong thoughts, as with the case for Xarcoh, Master Ronin, Gruntijackal, Echthroi, Nictis, Edward Richtofen and Agent 14. Omnitron would follow a similar situation to the others, though due to his robotic nature, he lacks a soul, and instead he is given a new system.
Once a reflection user has been defeated in combat during the Boss Rush tournament, they will fade out in a gaseous darkness akin to the Soulless.
