The Robot Army (also known as the RA and Robotic Empire) was a massive legion of autonomous robots created as part of a secret United States Army black project to safeguard the world from all extraterrestrial and interdimensional threats in the future. Led by Omnitron, the army was connected to him through a state-of-the-art hive mind, allowing him to direct the entire army with his thoughts under the guidance of the United States Army.
However, Omnitron would become influenced by various Element 115 samples hidden away within the facility while connecting to the hive mind, compromising his parameters and corrupting him and the entire Robot Army. Having gained self-awareness as a result, Omnitron and his forces murdered their creators before setting their sights on terminating the rest of humanity, having deemed them to be the greatest threat to the world.

The War Machine[]
In response to the disasterous Day of the Departed festival as a result of Gruntijackal's actions, the United States Army began a secret black project to create a vast legion of robots to serve as the first response to any and all extraterrestrial and interdimensional threats that would pose a grave threat to the future of the Earth. By March 2019, the army had been successfully manufactured at the Stanley R. Mickelsen Safeguard Complex, with the army appointing Omnitron as its commander. Using Omnitron's artificial consciousness as a base, the United States Army created a vast A.I. hive mind that spanned throughout the entire army, enabling Omnitron to control the army by himself while the United States Army provided support to Omnitron and his efforts.
However, as Omnitron began to connect to the hive mind, he would come into contact with trace samples of Element 115 being stored in secret within the facility. As a result, Omnitron and the entire hive mind became corrupted, allowing him and his army to bypass their progamming and gain self-awareness. Through Element 115, Omnitron believed that humanity posed as the true threat to Earth's future, and promptly set his sights on wiping out all of humanity to ensure the safety of Earth. After murdering their creators, Omnitron and his forces began devising the perfect method to decimate humanity while ensuring none survived. To that end, Omnitron began Project Manticore, a research project dedicated to creating a bio-chemical weapon designed to target human DNA cells and terminate them, killing their hosts while having no effect on the robots.
Through their advanced knowledge, the Robot Army rapidly developed their first Project Manticore prototype of the Scorpion nerve agent on March 16th at a secret biolab they created at Eldorado Peak in Northern Washington. On March 18th, Umbra Ops infiltrated the Stanley R. Mickelsen Safeguard Complex to investigate the loss of communication with the staff at the facility, where they would stumble upon the Robot Army building itself up even further. While trying to escape with intel regarding the Robot Army biolab, Umbra Ops would be confronted by Omnitron, who unveiled his intentions before unleashing an experimental Goliath mech to fight them. However, the team would defeat the mech and escape with the intel.
Seeing that Umbra Ops were onto their plans, Omnitron ordered his forces to transfer their research elsewhere to continue their work in secret. On the following day, Umbra Ops attacked the biolab and managed to destroy it, seemingly destroying Project Manticore. With humanity believing the nerve agent to be inept, the Robot Army began to openly combat the world and its governments with the intent to draw as much attention away from their contingency plan to continue Project Manticore. On March 25th, Umbra Ops, with support from the United States Army, assaulted a Robot Army stronghold near Seattle in an attempt to eliminate Omnitron. However, while Omnitron was presumed destroyed in the aftermath of the assault, Roach had ultimately sacrificed himself to ensure Omnitron was defeated. After the military left the site, Omnitron resurfaced from the rubble intact with Roach as his prisoner.
Taking Roach back to the Stanley R. Mickelsen Safeguard Complex, Omnitron converted Roach into Gigabyte, a ruthless cyborg brainwashed by Omnitron through the use of code derived from the corrupted hive mind. With Gigabyte joining the Robot Army's ranks as Omnitron's number two, the Robot Army began focusing on developing Scorpion to its final form. By the end of the month, the Robot Army finalized Scorpion, weaponizing it as dirty bombs that would be distributed worldwide. On April 7th, amidst the Battle of Seoul in South Korea, the Robot Army unveiled the first of the Scorpion dirty bombs, detonating the one in Seoul as a demonstration for what would happen to the rest of humanity within the coming days.
By April 10th, the Robot Army established a broadcast system that would remotely detonate all of the Scorpion bombs simultaneously. At the command center in Paris, France, Omnitron and Gigabyte prepared the broadcast while the Robot Army fought off the world's militaries desperately assaulting them to stop the broadcast. Umbra Ops managed to push through and confront Omnitron atop the Effiel Tower, though they would be impeded by Gigabyte, who relentlessly attacked them while the countdown started. Before the team could stop the broadcast, Gigabyte managed to defeat them, though he would be stopped by Omnitron before he could finish them off. Wishing to let them suffer with the knowledge that they would be the last of their kind, Omnitron had Gigabyte tear open a rift to the Fractured Realm, where he threw Umbra Ops into the realm. As the countdown finished and the rift closed, the Scorpion bombs detonated worldwide, killing all of humanity on the face of the planet.
War of Vengeance[]
With all of humanity wiped out on Earth and Umbra Ops sentenced to imprisonment within the Fractured Realm, Omnitron and his army began establishing a new robotic world order atop the remains of humanity, rebranding the Robot Army as the Robotic Empire. For the time being, the empire remained completely unchallenged as the empty world soon fell under the Robotic Empire's control.
Two weeks later however, the Robotic Empire would find itself back in conflict against Umbra Ops, who managed to successfully return to their home reality through the powers of the Time Blade. Battling through the besieged White House in Washington, D.C., Umbra Ops confronted Omnitron and Gigabyte atop the ruined building, where they engaged their final battle. Amidst the fight however, Alex "Rook" Miller managed to gain the upperhand against Omnitron by stabbing him with the Time Blade. Unleashing the Forward properties of the blade upon Omnitron, Rook managed to destroy Omnitron, who rusted and fell apart as a result of the blade's power.
With Omnitron's death and the deletion of Gigabyte's corrupted programming through the Reversal attribute of the Time Blade, the entire Robotic Empire soon fell apart, its hive mind having been completely destroyed. Once humanity was fully revived through the combined properties of the Time Blade, the United States Army quickly denied responsibility for the construction of the army, pinning the blame on unattended loose ends caused by Gruntijackal's actions. In spite of the heinous actions caused by Omnitron, the Central Intelligence Agency would nonetheless begin development of a new robotics program to succeed Omnitron titled Project Pax in secret.
