Schule der Untoten/Legacy/Trivia

This is map has two new enemies, the Catbeast and the Zombie Boss. However, the Zombie Boss only appears in the Return from Darkness major easter egg, where as, the Catbeasts appear every six rounds.
This is the first map to feature turning on back-up power.
This is the first map to feature interactive minor easter eggs that reward the player.
The map was originally going to be called Gesamtschule der Untoten which means Master School of the Undead in German and was to be set in Munich. The original name can still be found in the games files.
This is the first map to feature children as zombies.
This is the first map where minor easter eggs affect utilities, not the players.
Treyarch intended this map and its major easter egg to be bigger, but they realized that it should wait for another time.
This map features two new Wonder Weapons; the ZX-7 and the Bear Grenade. It also features a new Perk-a-Cola and a new utility; the new perk is Final Stand Thirst Quencher and the new utility is the Perk Booster Machine.
Electric Shock Defenses return, along with the all of the perks.
In the game's files; you can find the file ray3_zm. This means that the Ray Gun V3 was originally going to appear on this map.
New power-ups appear: Unlimited Ammo and Blitzkrieg.
This is the first map to feature anti power-ups. They include: No Ammo, Jammed and Perk-a-Loser.
A patch was made so that the children zombies on this map were removed for some time because it was percieved as child creulty. This was reversed on January 12, 2012 for unknown reasons.
Schule der Untoten is planned to be the first map on the wiki to be turned into a custom map.
This map has a unique feature. This special feature is that, once players exit the school and roam around outside, zombies will no longer break down barriers leading into the school or spawn in the school. Instead, they will head straight to the players outside of the school. This only appears in one other map; Einen Langsamen Tod.
The recent map, Castillo de los Muertos, is loosely based off of this map and also features a picture of it in an easter egg.
