The Terrorantula is a non-canon enemy that originally appeared in Magma-Man's Lies storyline and have returned in several maps since. They are giant spiders that attack by latching onto their victum's face and poisoning them. You cannot see when they are latched onto you and you have to repeatedly press the melee button to get them off. They poison you and will prevent you from healing for 1 and a half minutes and it takes 10 attacks from them to down you. They are about a foot tall, only attack on special rounds. When they come they will usually crawl along the wall and punch through certain damaged areas.
In Unending Frost and Shattered Reality, they spawn at random and only attack the players when they get too close.
