- “Intentions… unknown.”
- ―Notebook Information
The Visitor was a feared Goruxian mercenary that played a minor yet key role within the Day of Judgment and Rebellion of Realms sagas of the Roach Chronicles. He also appears as the main antagonist of the Universal Convergence movie special. In truth, The Visitor was a Darkling that had previously escaped the confinements of the Dark Realm, but ended up being captured by Master Ronin and assimilated into a sentient weapon of the Goruxian Armada.
Biography[]
Weapon of the Goruxian Armada[]
At some point in time, The Visitor was once a normal Darkling inhabiting the insidious Dark Realm, a dimension where the purest of darkness originates from. Through unknown means, The Visitor escaped his realm and emerged on the planet of Sparvis IX in Earth-81118, where he was captured by Goruxian forces and brought before Master Ronin. Greatly intrigued by his origins, Ronin had The Visitor interrogated for all of the knowledge he possessed of his home realm, seeking to one day harness the Dark Realm's power for himself. Once The Visitor revealed all he knew, Ronin had him brainwashed and converted into a cyborg-like mercenary to join the ranks of the Goruxian Armada. Over the years of universal war, The Visitor would become reputed as the Goruxian's most feared and powerful asset, as his combined Darkling physiology and Goruxian augmentations made him a dangerous force to be reckoned.
One day, The Visitor was tasked with investigating the Aether, a dimension existing between other dimensions that acted as a gateway to all dimensional realms within the Nexus. However, The Visitor would be captured by the resident Aetherians, who knew of The Visitor's true origins outside of his forced Goruxian façade. Knowing the power he possessed was too great for the Goruxians to keep, the Aetherians decided to encase The Visitor within a meteor comprised of pure Unistone and Aetherian light, which would mask his dark power from the Goruxians and keep him in stasis. Before the Goruxians could arrive to reclaim The Visitor, the Aetherians cast the meteor into the voids of space. Once the Goruxians learned of what become of The Visitor, the ensuing Aetherian War began between the Goruxians and the Aetherians, resulting in the mass genocide of the Goruxian species that seeped back to their homeworld, leaving Ronin as the sole survivor of his race.
Due to the reality-splicing properties of Unistone, The Visitor's comet would pierce into Earth-31218 from the Aether. The Visitor would crash-land on Earth around 1928, with the comet becoming frozen beneath the ice of Baffin Island in the Canadian region of the Arctic Circle. During World War II nearly two decades later, the Nazis discovered the comet's crash site, building a top secret military outpost above the comet, where they would study the comet and siphon off small fragments of the light Aetherian energy within the comet. However, when the end of World War II arrived, the Nazis were forced to abandoned the base, leaving the comet to be forgotten within the mines of the base.
Day of Judgment[]
Nearly a century later in 2028, following the destruction of the Yin Blade and the fracturing of Earth-31218's universal foundation, Jacob Roberts, Patrick West, Daniela Knight, and Samuel Higgins traveled to the abandoned Nazi base in search of the comet containing the light Aetherian energy, which was key in forging the Key of Union, which would be able to restore the universe. During this time, the undead roamed free around the base, protecting it from unwanted attention in order to protect the comet.
However, the four heroes would discover the comet, and were able to break off a chunk of the comet, using it to siphon off all of the remaining light energy within the comet. This however causes The Visitor to begin his awakening process within his pod, sending out a powerful sonic blast that caused the entire base to collapse. However, the heroes would escape the base, unaware of what they had unleashed.
Rebellion of Realms[]
Sometime later, The Visitor would finally emerge from stasis and break free of his shattered Unistone cage, leaving it behind for the Dark Order to find and melt down into resources to built a powerful rocket to wipe out the rest of the Rebellion of Realms fighting to reclaim their universe from Nictis' subjugation. In the meantime, The Visitor attempted to return back to Sparvis IX, but discovered it didn't exist at all in the universe he was currently in. Realizing that he would have to find a way to cross between the universes without using the Aether, The Visitor would begin keeping tabs on the Dark Order and their Unistone research, discovering that Unistone was potent enough to splice open rifts to other universes. With this knowledge, The Visitor waited for the facility housing the Unistone warhead to be raided by the Rebellion of Realms. Once the Rebellion's prominent members left for Berlin to confront Nictis, The Visitor mercilessly assaulted the base singlehandedly, overpowering the Rebellion members stationed within.
Upon clearing the base of any immediate threats, The Visitor launched the Unistone warhead into the skies above Berlin. Seeking to claim the Dark Scepter from Nictis to stabilize the soon-to-come rift, The Visitor would travel to Berlin and arrive just as the Rebellion defeated Nictis. When questioned by the heroes on his identity, The Visitor reveals it to them while eerily adding on that he was "reality's harbinger of doom". As Nictis gets up from the ground, he soon realizes a dark truth as he provokes a flashback of him and his men first finding the Unistone comet, which had been partially broken off to reveal an open pod with a strange emblem. Seeing that the same emblem was on The Visitor's shoulder pads, Nictis tells the heroes that death has come for them all. At that moment, the warhead launched from the supply station explodes overhead and creates a massive rift that begins to fracture reality. With this, The Visitor begins to laugh as the heroes and Nictis stand against him.
Universal Convergence[]
Upon engaging in combat against the combined efforts of the Rebellion and Nictis, The Visitor swiftly defeats them all, effortlessly knocking them down to the ground. The Visitor soon acquires the discarded Dark Scepter from the ground, saying that their efforts to stop Nictis only helped him further his own plans faster than anticipated. Novus attempts to reason with The Visitor, questioning his origins. While The Visitor is telling his "past" to Novus, Nictis finds Jacob's discarded knife in the grass and attempts to sneak up on The Visitor. However, The Visitor catches on to Nictis' attempt to assassinate him, and manages to grab Nictis by his neck. Holding him in the air with his right arm, The Visitor taunts Nictis for his botched attempt to take his life. As Nictis struggles to break free, he tells The Visitor that he would never succeed, and he would die a coward. The Visitor scoffs at his comment, telling Nictis that his long journey has finally reached the end before stabbing Nictis in the neck with his wrist-mounted blades on his left arm, killing him once and for all. Horrified, Novus could only watch as The Visitor taunts them about this, saying that this was just the beginning before teleporting away with the Dark Scepter, dropping Nictis' lifeless corpse onto the ground. With Nictis dead, the Accursed Realm ceased to exist, and the universe was restored. However, the rift created by the warhead violently expanded even further.
As multiple universes became drawn to the rift, The Visitor soon began using the Dark Scepter to merge the universes together in order to keep the newly-formed yet forced Convergence active. Satisfied with the progress he has made with his objective, The Visitor used the opportunity to locate and return to Earth-81118 amidst the cluster of converging universes, where he was greeted to a grim sight upon reaching Sparvis IX; the complete desolation of the world. While wandering the ruined planet, The Visitor pondered aloud what had happened to the Goruxians before discovering Master Ronin sitting on his throne in his dilapidated throne room. Ronin tells The Visitor that following the conclusion of the Aetherian War and his disappearance, the Goruxian Armada fell to the Aetherians, slaughtering the Goruxians and forcing Ronin to flee, where he remained in hiding for over a century. Seeing that Ronin was the only survivor, having lost everything he once held dear, The Visitor kneels down and apologizes, saying that everything was his fault and that he would do anything to appease his master one last time.
Unbeknownst to The Visitor, Ronin had developed intentions of using the Convergence to travel to the universe containing the Matter Orb, which would provide Ronin the Dark Realm's power for him to use; however, due to the relic's connection to the Dark Realm, Ronin feared that its power would remind The Visitor of his true past should he come along. Seeking to buy himself some time to locate the Matter Orb's whereabouts and prepare his robotic forces and ship to travel there while simultaneously eliminating The Visitor from the picture, Ronin tasks The Visitor with a seemingly impossible mission: to annihilate the other universes connected through the Convergence as an act of vengeance for the massacre of the Goruxian people. Ronin then tells The Visitor that his own raw strength and the Dark Scepter won't be enough, saying that he needs to forge a weapon capable of doing the job more effectively. Ronin soon tells The Visitor that during a Convergence, a passage to the legendary realm of Uriqar will be opened, explaining to his subordinate that the forges of Uriqar, as well as the materials he has, will be enough to forge a weapon that will be able to destroy every universe linked in the Convergence besides their own.
With his mission set ahead of him, The Visitor began using the Dark Scepter to focus a path into Uriqar. However, he would discover that a collective of heroes from a few of the universes were banding against him. Having learned that they were currently at the Dark Order supply station that previously held the warhead, The Visitor promptly heads there to eliminate them. During the ensuing fight, The Visitor utilizes the Dark Scepter to imbue himself with dark energy, explaining to the heroes that he has barely scratched the surface of the scepter's true powers. As the fight continued, the Convergence continued to align even further, causing spatial anomalies to begin to appear. Using the power he had absorbed, The Visitor begins to utilize the anomalies to his advantage, bending the reality around the base before creating a black hole. As the base and heroes began to become consumed by the black hole, The Visitor bids them all a sarcastic goodbye before using his newfound powers to teleport away. Unable to do anything, the heroes are all consumed by the black hole; unbeknownst to The Visitor, the heroes would be transported to the realm of Divination at the last moment by The Librarian.
Having seemingly rid himself of the heroes, The Visitor soon completes the dimensional passage into Uriqar. Entering the realm, The Visitor discovers the massive forges of the realm, as well as hundreds of holograms depicting weapon molds. Inspecting the molds, The Visitor eventually locates a mold of a war-scythe/battle-axe, deciding that the design of the weapon is perfect for his cause. The Visitor soon began to work on forging his weapon, using the Unistone samples he acquired to be melted down in order to create the weapon's blade. As the Unistone melted down, The Visitor soon destroyed the Dark Scepter, removing the scepter's handle and putting it in the mold with the melted Unistone. With everything ready, The Visitor soon inserted the mold into the realm's fiery forge, where the parts began to form together.
As The Visitor finished forging his weapon, the heroes are suddenly teleported to Uriqar by The Librarian, armed with the Harbinger and a small fragment of Dark Creation. The Visitor is surprised by their sudden appearance, but shrugs it off before unveiling his finished weapon, the Ragnarök, stating that nothing could combat it before engaging the heroes in a final fight. While "Athena", Jacob, Chris, Patrick, Rook, Alain, and O'Ryan fought off The Visitor, Roach, TJ, Higgins, Daniela, Ben, and Jack began to reforge the Harbinger in the background, seeking to imbue it with their Dark Creation samples to stand up to The Visitor's weapon. Just as The Visitor began to overpower the attacking heroes, Roach is able to finish reforging the Harbinger and jumps into the action, utilizing the Harbinger to block The Visitor's attack on "Athena".
Furious over their persistence, The Visitor engages Roach in a one-on-one fight, with both of them utilizing their powerful weapons while the others looked on. As their final fight raged on, the Convergence around Uriqar began to end due to the Dark Scepter's defusal. While Roach was formidable in his fight, The Visitor was able to knock the Harbinger out of his hands before stabbing Roach in the chest with the Ragnarök. As The Visitor taunted Roach over his defeat, Alain quickly recovered the Harbinger from the ground, using it to slice through the Ragnarök's handle while The Visitor was distracted, breaking the weapon into two. As the energies within the Ragnarök began to surge out of control, Roach was able to quickly pry the blade of the Ragnarök out of his chest, using it to stab The Visitor in the neck. As The Visitor screamed in pain, the Ragnarök's energies soon overloaded The Visitor, melting his entire body and destroying what remained of the Ragnarök. In his final moments, the brainwashing clouding The Visitor's memories faded, and The Visitor cried out Ronin's name in anger as he dissolved away.
The Eclipse War[]
The Visitor is mentioned by Ronin during his assault on the Oracle space station, revealing that he had used him as a pawn to buy himself time to locate the Matter Orb's resident universe.

Trivia[]
- The Visitor's name and design is the same as the secret outfit within Season 4 of Fortnite.
- The Visitor, along with the Mob Boss, the Unit 14 Leader, and the villains from Earth-111517, are the only pre-Boss Rush main antagonists of the Roach Chronicles multiverse that do not appear in the mode.
- Due to a lack of lore expansion by the time Boss Rush was finished, The Visitor was scrapped from appearing as part of The Thirteen. Would he have been finished by then, he would've been Rank VIII, knocking out Agent 14 from the group while pushing Nictis down to Rank IX, Xirsch to Rank X, Yaxnor to Rank XI, Lextyr to Rank XII, and Edward Richtofen to Rank XIII.
