Welcome to Extermination is the introduction cutscene for the Futuristic Zombies mode Zombie Operations. The cutscene features Atlas General Alain Bourden and Sergei Ravenov as they introduce a batch of new recruits into Task Force: Extermination's Strike Team Foxtrot to battle the 2144 Zombie Outbreak.

Various shots of zombie attacks in New Elpis, Neomuna, Midnight City, Tokyo, Imperial City, Neon City, Crystal Springs and several cities throughout the world. Alain Bourden and Sergei Ravenov are observing holographic screens showing these attacks, Alain's arms crossed.
Ravenov: Umbrella has many facilities in the world, General. Any idea where we can find exactly where they made their contribution?
Alain looks to a small evidence board on his right. The evidence board has pinned photos of a classified blacksite, Techno Tower's lobby, Shadow Company's headquarters, the New Elpis PARADOX precinct, the Neomuni harbor, a New Elpis nightclub, a Neon City refugee camp and an Atlas research lab, all interconnected with red string. Each of these have an accompanying photo of a large 8'9" man in a black trench coat and hat, in different angles.
Alain: But first, we need to find out about our Mysterious Man, then we'll focus how Umbrella contributed.
Ravenov: Might be a bit hard since we don't know much about him.
On this evidence board, all of the string lead to a printed picture of the Umbrella Corporation's emblem pinned at the top of the board. A sticky note with the words "THE CAUSE OF OUTBREAK!" is stuck underneath it. There are two other string leading from it to another incident in Paradise Island.
Rebecca: Captain, I analyzed the blood samples that we got from our mission last week.
Opposite of the evidence board, Dr. Rebecca Chambers stood in front of a door, holding a clipboard in her hands.
Ravenov: What have you found out, Doctor?
Alain turns to her as Rebecca looks down at the clipboard before looking back up at him.
Rebecca: After close examination of the blood, it seems that this virus does not match that of the same one the Mirage Corporation seized in 2138. This one is more aggressive and its transmission is far more powerful.
Alain looked back to the evidence board.
Alain: So they made more than one virus then...I knew they were an ultranationalist company, but this is too extreme.
Ravenov: Maybe they wanted to profit from it?
Melissa Anders then enters the room from another door opposite of the holographic screens.
Anders: General Bourden, I heard your task force needed some new blood.
Alain and Ravenov both looked to Anders.
Alain: You heard right, Director. Who do you have in mind?
Anders: Eager individuals with great track records.
1:10 PM
August 15th, 2144
Task Force: Extermination
T.F.X. Headquarters
A team of six operators would be standing in a line within a situation room filled with personnel. In front of them would be a table with intel of an Umbrella facility on the northern coast of former Germany, without any images. Alain and Ravenov would walk in with all six operators saluting.
Ravenov: There is no need to salute, team. Let me be the first to welcome you all to the Task Force. Director Anders spoke highly of each of you, so we expect a lot.
Alain: The mission you're being sent on is to an Umbrella Corporation research facility on the northern coast of former Germany. With intellience gathered by Ravenov and his team, we believe it may be a site where our Mysterious Man originates from.
Ravenov: But keep in mind, we're going in blind because our drones and orbital surveillance cannot get a picture of this facility. It comes as an ordinary rural countryside farm in surveillance photos.
Alain: Strike Team, your objective is to assault the facility and gain access to its interiors so we can find out more about Mr. X. Ravenov will be on tactical with Strike Team Delta as support.
Alain would throw down photos of Mr. X on the table for the operators to look at and study before looking back up at Alain.
Alain: You are now Task Force: Extermination, Foxtrot.
