Widow's Wine is a Perk-A-Cola originally featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops III. The perk first made it's appearance in the canon map Shadows of Evil and returned in future DLC maps. The perk replaces PhD Flopper in the remastered versions of Black Ops 1 maps in Zombie Chronicles. It's also featured in the Undamned storyline.
Effects[]
- When a zombie hits the player, a explosion of webs will cover the zombies, trapping them for 20 seconds. Zombies who are further away from the player will their movement slowed down for same amount of time.
- Grenades will become Widow's Wine grenades that, when thrown, will trap zombies in webs if not killed by the explosion.
- Widow's Wine grenades can be refilled with it's own special power up or a Max Ammo.
- The player's knife also has a small chance of stunning zombies.
Appearance[]
The machine for Widow's Wine has a similar shape to PhD Flopper, but the overall design is based of an Art Deco design with web like designs around the machine. A "10¢" message is above the compartment of the machine. On the top of the machine is a circular icon displaying a red-coloured Black Widow spider with black lips on the back intimidating the look of a real Black Widow, with the "Widow's Wine" logo below it. The jingle has a jazz style from the 30s to 40s with seductive sounding lyrics.
