- “Au... revoir”
- ―A zombie seconds before dying under the Zeit's effects
The Zeit-Beschleuniger (German: Time Accelerator) is the thirteenth Wonder Weapon in the Zombies series, debuting in L'Étranger. It's special effect is creating an aqua portal to appear and explode, causing a group of zombies to rapidly age, before causing them to explode into dust and bones. The effected Zombies block any normal zombies by standing in their way. When Pack-A-Punched, it becomes the Zeit-Paradoxon (German: Time Paradox), increasing its ammo and increasing the explosive damage. When Wonder-Punched, it becomes the Zeit Vernichter (German: Time Annihilator), increasing its ammo and the explosion can be effected by Perk-A-Punched PhD Flopper.
Overview[]
While it is unknown who made it, it is presumed by Takeo to be a secret project by the Japanese during World War II. When it was designed, it was sent off to the Group 935 facility in Paris for testing, where it proved excellent against living beings. It, however, was lost when Paris was overrun by Zombies.
It starts out with 3+15 ammo, being quite reliable but should not be wasted. When upgraded, it has 9+45 ammo and reloads slightly faster (3.4 seconds, reload cancelable at 2.4 seconds). When Wonder-Punched, it has infinite ammo, but has an 11 second reload with no reload cancel.
It was 'sacrificed' in Sacrificial Night to make the Zeit Wunderwaffe.
Bugs[]
- It doesn't seem to be effected by Stamin-Up.
- Zombies that are rapidly aging can not get killed by the Scavenger.
Trivia[]
- It is unknown why it has a German name.
- It plays a role in the Samantha's Funeral minor easter egg for Wald des Todes, making it and the Regenerator Wunderwaffe the only weapons required to complete all of the minor easter eggs in one game.
